Rectal Temperature in the Shower

Does anyone else like taking their rectal temperature while In the shower?!

I don’t take very hot baths or showers….actually mine are usually lukewarm or slightly on the cooler side.

Anyways I have only done this a few times and once was with my husband!

In the shower, rectal temperature feels AH-MAZING!!! 😊🥰🤤

Ok so I just took my geratherm basal mercury free thermometer to the shower with me….like I said I take very lukewarm or cool showers and just “playing” with it in the shower I got 99.

I got out of the shower and came down to my room and used my B-D yellow back rectal thermometer and got a reading of 100.F

I’m not feeling great but I don’t feel horrible!

I will continue to monitor it but…..

Rectal temperatures in the shower are still pretty AMAZING….!

You should try it sometime….just sayin’ 😉

I did try it years ago but worried it would fall out in the shower and break, so I don't do it anymore. 🌡️🚿

Depending on how hot the shower is and how long you stay there, your RT may err on the high side. If that's something you like to do, go for it, but don't rely on the accuracy.

Has been a while since I’ve taken my RT in the shower - last time I did, on all fours, it slipped out and the tip broke off when it hit the hard enamel tub! I suppose that’s why it is better off as a 2 person job 😉 I must agree it feels amazing regardless!

I have been “enjoying” soapsticks recently in the shower, however - the neutrogena bars have left my bottom sore for days!

I like to take mine in the shower. It usually leads to me masturbating after.
