Should it be mandatory at hotels to wear diapers?

Recently I was reading an online article about how many times hotels have to change the bedding sets after every guests and this got me thinking should wearing diapers be a mandatory option.

However this isn't to say we would or should force people to wear diapers/nappies just to say if they say they are a bed wetter or have any sort of bladder or bowls related incontinence issues that this option should be available for people to choose if they agree to it.

I fully understand that diapers/nappies aren't exactly environmentaly friendly and that most people don't need them at all and find it embarrassing if you mention diapers/nappies to them, however better that than having to clean up someone's accident, I do know some hotels do provide plastic sheeting for beds on request.

However what I was thinking along the lines of the rise of families visiting with children and the increasing amount of disabled or elderly/senior citizens maybe hotels should have a policy or something similar to this because it would help some people?

And if they choose this option the diapers should be provided for free or at a discounted rate depending on what benefits people might be on and also what the intended size or age the guest is and if so or maybe in some cases for all age and ability groups?

No to be clear what we would offer is special family/suites or private rooms as well as the normal box standard hotel rooms but not a five star offering as we would try to keep everything budget happy, while not skimping on cleanliness and hygiene or comfort levels.

However going back to my self well personally speaking to be honourest in my case I always tend to wear diapers/nappies as an adult at hotels anyway as my own personal choice and this is a subject that I have touched on before,

Ps, sorry if that's a repeat but I wanted to get this one off my chest as it's been nagging me for a while now as I meant to post this months ago but was otherwise too busy to post it until now.

If there was such a place and there policy clearly seid if your staying in our hotel you have to wear diapers/nappies, because if so I would love to abide by that policy as I am already partially incontinent.

Personally if I owned a hotel/resort, we would provide sanitary bins and changing areas for all ages in the hotel room and also have the a care provider on duty & all the nessisary supplies to deal with that and it would be for free or at least at a minimal price,

we would also sound proof each room so you wouldn't disturb any one as diaper changing can be rather loud as some of you already know, and there would be an electronic door sign on the doors to say make room or do not disturb all the hotels as standard.

Include bed shaking alarms for those who can't hear well or are heavy sleepers fire alarms in each room and a fire drill for those who are staying more than a night and glow in the dark emergency lighting like in the big bang theory episode of Sheldon's apartment.

We would also have a specialy discounted price for disabled people or abdl's and children/teens or for senior citizens and or for people who have terminal illnesses and have to be cared for by care providers as they would get a discount too.

Anyway this is just a few thoughts on this subject and I am sorry if it angers or even offends some people as that was never my intention.

Honestly that doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Every time when I travel I always bring my Huggies / Pampers diapers with me. It has happened before where I would not drink or eat anything for a good while and like overnight I would have an accident. Diapers have saved me from countless embarrassments. That would be a good policy to implement.

In the real world this wouldn't happen. Most people don't want anything to do with diapers.

All hotels should be changing all bed linens for sanitation reasons period. I would never stay at a hotel that doesn't practice this.

Mandatory diaper wearing for the stay isn't helping the environment at all. Landfill full of unnecessary disposable diapers. Cloth diapers must be washed.

So by filling up the landfill and washing cloth diapers, what's the gain for the environment? It doesn't take much more water to wash bed linens vs cloth diapers.

I would think your hotel would be out of business Making diapers mandatory. Just my opinion.

A lot of hotels/motels nowadays give the user the option of not changing the sheets every day in case of a stay more than one night. That's enough.

There are plenty of liquids that would lead to a need to change the bedding...people drool on the pillow, slop drinks or food, etc, etc....

Think forcing some one who doesn’t wear to doesn’t seem logical. Think if you are a wearer why stop when at a hotel.

You can't make people wear diapers who are totally unexperienced with it. Even if they agree, leaks will be likely and then there's nothing gained.

Don’t we have enuf rules? If someone wets at night they should be responsible for providing protection…diaper, depends, or a pad.

This all seems like a good old textbook case of "it's a fantasy of mine, therefore a vast majority of people have it too". While I understand it may be appealing to those into diapers, it's disconnected from reality for reasons others have already mentioned (and others, too).

People should always remember two main points:

1) What's in a person head doesn't necessarily works in a real-life setting

2) You should never impose your fetish, directly or indirectly, on people who don't share it (unless otherwise proven that they do share it and that they do want to engage with you)

I want to add to my earlier post. I'm an incontinent DL person myself and wear disposable diapers 24/7. Personal hygiene and sanitation are very important to me.

I don't do anything different at a hotel or any other place that I don't do in my own home. Believe me I dont ever want to be lying or sitting in someone else's or even my body fluids.

My diaper wearing habits do provide the protection I need without wetting, leaking on any furniture, bedding, or anything else.

I change when needed and move on with life. Yes sometimes leaks happens, but very very rare for me.

I always provide my own diapers and bed protection at all times everywhere.

If its a fantasy or a fetish, go for it! Don't impose on others that aren't interested and provide your own diapers and protection. Be sanitary about it.

For the incontinent real world, I believe that incontinent people want and do sanitation practices for themselves and others.

PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Just be respectful about fantasy and fetishes to others. And always practice sanitation actions.

I don't think this could be implemented as a mandatory policy, but I do think that they could easily start putting a small package of four L or XL adult disposables in each room with a note saying something like "Provided for our guests. If different sizes are needed, contact the desk. Please dispose of these by folding them up and placing them on floor next to trash can..." (or whatever). Also perhaps provide a plastic sheet for the bed.

If this were ever done, I'd then want to get a job cleaning the hotel rooms just so I could see how many people are using them and, if the guests were attractive females, maybe taking a few home for future enjoyment. LOL.

When I was a child my mom and myself stayed at what might be called a rooming house in a beach town. I am sure it was economical because she did not have much money. There was some issue with the lady that owned the home. I believe she did not want children in the place. Some how we were able to stay at least one night. When bed time came around my mom made me wear plastic panties over my underwear. I distinctly recall asking why I had to wear them? At the time I did not wet the bed and stated so. Mom said please just wear them and I said ok. Looking back I am sure the owner insisted that all kids be in diapers and or plastic pants, just in case! I can imagine there being a big fine if the crappy bed got wet.

I have stayed in some rented vacation homes and have often found stuff for bed wetters supplied. Some went as far as putting plastic covers on the mattress. They were usually on twin beds where children may sleep. Most often in a closet, you would find a plastic cover or wet proof pad of some sort.

Have not found any diapers supplied as of yet.
