Hi, I am a lover of plastic baby pants for adults! I have know since I was 4-5 years old I wanted to wear cloth diapers and plastic baby pants, I am a baby boomer from the 50's and 60's. I think of myself as a little boy between 6-to 8 years old that still needs diapers and baby pants.
I so remember seeing toddlers wearing cloth diapers and plastic baby pants and I felt so jealous! My favorites baby pants are translucent, shiny. puffy and crinkly. You could see the cloth diaper and diaper pins thru the baby pants.
Anyway I have bought a set of three on Amazon for $20.00, they are called Easy Comfort vinyl incontinent pants. What I love about them is that they are grainy like the old plastic pants, some what shiny and also stiff so they are noisy. When they are puffed up by snapping the waist band they stay puffed up. I find all plastic pants (Garys and Babykins) that I buy do not stay puffed up and billowy, they sag.
Now these are cheaply made and have rubber waist and leg bands but I am in toddler, little boy heaven.
Do you remember back in the 50's and 60's when you would see plastic baby pants on a bed say they would hold their shape, that's what these are like.
I have a 32" 33" waist and I buy a 2 extra large which is the biggest size they are a perfect fit for me. If you have a larger waist than they will probably rip at the seams. The sizing runs very small, they are made in China so they are sized all wrong. They come wrinkled but I put them in the dryer for about 5 minutes and the wrinkles are gone.
Right now I am in heaven wearing a gauze diaper, baby blue diaper pins and Easy comfort plastic pants.
I do realize that many people must wear a larger size but it's just food for thought.
P.S. I have a leather punch that I can cut different hole sizes, so what I do is perforate them like the old baby pants. They color easily with Rit Dye powder dye to make pastel blue, yellow and pink baby pants.
