Baby diapers don't fit me, so I could not make a sensible choice.
However, adult disposables do fit, and I use.
I've tried several brands and have some favorites.
• For everyday affordable use I like Tena Stretch because of the single long hook & loop tab on each side which makes adjustment simple and quick. Both the Ultra and Super models hold a little over 16 ounces before they begin to leak around the edges, especially when sitting. Stand up leak guards would probably reduce the leakage and increase the amount of liquid held before leaking occurs.
• Northshore Megamax is a great brand, but out of my price range. There are a couple similar brands that cost less. I like them because:
✓ They have tall leak guards that work!
✓ They absorb nearly 30 ounces of liquid in real life use so last most of the day
✓ I like the plastic backed diapers, maybe just because I feel more certain they won't leak through.
✓ The plastic landing strip and tab adhesive are a perfet match, but the tabs have two layers so they can be repositioned once after initial placement. The adhesive is really strong.
✓ I also like the bulk, especially when a stuffer is added.
Occasional wearing/use of adult diapers is becoming a neccesity due to prostate issues, and I will be wearing during a bus tour next week. I don't think I can last the 2 - 2 1/2 hours drives that have been predicted, so protection is necesary. It will be the Tena's and I have butterflies thinking about using on a bus with several dozen other people around me. Might make a good story?
