Kissing Booth, and more

I’m looking for inspiration for a new short story series that I’ve been pondering. There used to be a fundraiser called a Kissing Booth. I never knew of one in real life, but have seen plenty of examples of it in movies and TV shows. Usually a pretty girl would offer a kiss in exchange for a money donation towards the fundraising cause. Maybe a dollar, maybe five dollars. I’m not sure how this did not classify as low level prostitution, but it apparently was both tolerated and encouraged in some areas back in the day. Usually a girl worked in the booth, but could just as easily have been a guy.

1) I’d love to hear from anyone who has seen a kissing booth in real life, or participated in a kissing booth from either side. Your thoughts and feelings about it, both at the time and looking back at it now, would be interesting to hear.

2) If a kinky community, properly safe and anonymous, were having a fundraiser at a large social event, what type of booth would you like to work at or visit? This can be complete fantasy and not held to practical limitations of the real world. Basically, what would you be willing to do with a stranger for a dollar or five?
