Vaginal temperature probe?

I’m wanting to dabble in checking my vaginal temp. Problem is I have some sensory issues with vaginal penetration and I feel like the thin thermometers will send me crawling up the wall. Is there anything similar to an transvaginal ultrasound probe that measures temperature?

How about a veterinary thermometer, or candy thermometer?

You could have a friend tie one on his/her finger and stick that in. Might be more fun.
