Do You Have an Enemate?

As a word nerd, I think I need to check in on the definition of “enemate.” I think I misused it initially, as I’ve come to understand it as one’s other half in sharing enemas, that is, both parties give and receive. Is that correct?

I love to receive and across the years have had two givers, but I’ve never been in a relationship where we traded enemas.

My last former giver was fantastic but suffered from an inflammatory bowel disease that increased his risk of perforation such that I never offered, even when he had bouts of uncomfortable constipation. I was just too scared of perforating him, especially as he’d been hospitalized for his disease before.

Having never tried giving to an intimate partner, I know my life feels complete without it, but I believe in reciprocity in the bedroom so likely would return the favor if my partner wanted. So…no enemate and no giver other than myself at this time, and I know that it’s too charged an activity for me to undertake outside the marriage bond without chancing its ruin.
