When dating and even socializing with girls did you find that some of them were happy, even enthusiastic, to be given a spanking? I dated and socialized with a lot of girls and young ladies when growing up back in the '70s; I was born in 1958 to put this into context!

Hi Brianna, I absolutely agree with you that CONSENT is ESSENTIAL with regard to spanking and any form of sexual activity! Even when spankings are administered for disciplinary reasons and punishments it should be in the context of an agreed and fully consented to disciplinary domestic living arrangement and relationship! Regarding the OP's observations and questions, I agree that MANY (but, obviously not all) girls who grew up prior to the late 20th century, especially in the Midwestern or Southern USA (and, especially in rural or even suburban communities), with loving-but-strict fathers (who were not afraid to properly tan their sons', daughters', and even their wives' bare bottoms), expected, accepted, and even desired a man who would be a loving-but-strict head of his household, and enforce family discipline (with a leather strap, when necessary).
