Side by Side exam

When I was 14 and my brother was 6 we had an appointment for our annual checkups on a Saturday afternoon, I think it was supposed to be at 4pm. We got to our pediatrician 's office and the doctor was running way behind with at least four people ahead of us. After running over by 30 minutes the nurse finally came and escorted us to a small exam room with just a scale and exam table, there were no chairs but some hangars on a rack. We waited for another 20 minutes and my mother said "I think you boys should get undressed" I replied that only when a doctor or nurse asked me to disrobe would I do so. My mom then left us in the exam room and brought a nurse over. "I know the doctor is running late, should my sons strip down to their briefs now to save her some more delays." The nurse thought about it and grabbed another nurse to explain my mom's request.. "Sure ,have your sons disrobe down to their underpants. They will be the last patients of the day." As she left the other nurse stayed and watched us take off our clothing. I could not help notice that my mother could not keep a great big smile on her face as we stripped down to our tighty whities After she took our weight,height and BP she left the nurse left and came back with the other nurse. "Where are we going to put these two? We only have one table and the doctor,she wants out as quickly as possible." The older nurse thought about it as she looked at our nearly naked bodies,"they seem pretty skinny, lets do it as a side by side". "Just sit side by side on the exam table boys, doctor will be in soon" said the nurse as she left the room It was somewhat odd sitting next to my younger brother in nothing but our underpants. The doctor came in and greeted us and apologized profusely as the nurse came in. She said that we were going to be examined at the same time to finish quickly. She started with ENT stuff, checking of the lymph glands,checking the eyes and the movablilty of our heads. Then she asked us both to lie down and put our arms over our heads, it was a tight squeeze, then I noticed the nurse had a big folded rectangular cloth in her hands. Just before she started our table exam she asked both of us to push our pelvises up. The doctor began by removing my briefs while the nurse took my little brother's last stich of clothing away. He shot up like a rock, trying to cover up and I could see some tears in his eyes, the embarrassment of being naked in front of mother,doctor,nurse and myself was maybe a bit much. I hugged him and said "Look I'm just as undressed as you are,everyone is shy when their penises have to come out",as I said this I realized that we were both naked. He calmed down and we both laid back down as the nurse covered out genitalia up with the drape . The doctor apologized saying "I should have warned you that I was going to remove your underpants, but this will be done in 5 more minutes and you can dress" We finished the rest of the exam on the table and she removed the drape to check our genitals. Once we were in the car going home my mom teased us both about having to be naked. Did anyone else ever have an exam where your sibling was examined with you?

Were you used to your mom being present for your exams? Was the unusual thing just that you were present?

I think my mom intended for my brother and me to have a similar exam when I was 17 and he was 14, and she scheduled our exams at the same time for the first time ever. But when we checked in, the staff put us in separate exam rooms -- my mom with my brother, and me by myself. Right up to the waiting room, I assumed we'd have an exam much like you described.

My mother had a strained relationship with us so she took a particular enjoyment in watching us undress and become submissive. She loved to tease us after we disrobed saying things like 'I had no idea you boys were going to have to do a striptease' or 'I hope no one comes in and see you in nothing buy your briefs'

@Wanderer This was the first time since I was a teenager that I had seen my brother completely naked. It was not a big deal,I just felt bad that the removal of his briefs made him so upset. I was more chagrined and embarrassed than upset to have myself laying stark naked in front of a bunch of clothed females. I also realized that my brother was checking out my penis as he later asked me why I had hair all over down there.

As I explained in https://en.zity.biz/index.php?mx=forum;ox=display;msg=1299707 and https://en.zity.biz/index.php?mx=forum;ox=display;msg=1118806 I was expecting the exam to be like all the other exams I had been to with my pediatrician up through age 16, except instead of just the doctor and my mom in the room, my little brother would have been as well. The nurse would tell my mom to have us take off everything except our underpants, after which the nurse would take us down the hall for height and weight. Then we'd return to the room to wait for the doctor who would do the normal exam, inclusive of pulling down our underpants. While I was very used to my mom seeing my penis and testicles each year at my well child exam, this would have been the first time in about four years that my brother and I would have seen each other's penises and testicles -- the first time since either of us started puberty.

Instead, at 17, I was alone with the doctor, stayed fully clothed for pretty much the entire exam, weighed on a scale in the exam room, and only at the end, when he did the hernia check, did I need to pull down my shorts and underpants. I know from the conversastion in the car on the ride home that my mom saw my brother, who was 14, completely undressed for the last several minutes of his exam.

To this day, my brother and I have not seen each other completely undressed since the last time my mom gave us a bath together, when he was 10, and I was 13, before either of us had started puberty. Our mother, of course, saw both of us completely undressed at the doctor until we each were in the last stage of puberty.

No, other than pulling my shorts and briefs down for long enough for the doctor to do the hernia check, I was fully clothed the whole time. And on our car ride home, my brother's uncharacteristic silence made clear he was embarrassed. He wouldn't say a word. My mom was the one asking me about my exam and telling me about his exam and him being naked.

No,I have never had a side by side exam.BUT would soooo sooo LOVE to have a side by side exam in my GYNO's office.With one of my girlfriends.Would be soooo exciting for ALL of us,my girlfriend,nurse and doctor(female of course) AND MYSELF!!!

Only had one doctor's visit with my younger sister, 3 years younger than me when I was 15.

Fortunately for her modesty, I got excused to the hallway with my dad while the pediatrician examined her. When it was my turn, my sister also got excused, but when my dad also got up the doctor said it isn't necessary.

When she instructed me to lift my hips, I knew that she was going to remove my underwear. My underwear came off and the doctor examined my genitals. I began to get erect. When she told me to hop down from the table, I was fully erect. I noticed that both my mother and sister were watching. The doctor examined my genitals again and performed a hernia check. I was told to get dressed. It was now my sister's turn. Everything was similar to my exam until it was time to examine her breasts. The doctor examined her breasts in a seated position and then asked her to lay down and examined her breasts again. The stomach exam was next, but the doctor only pulled her underwear out and down slightly, reaching in and examining her genitals. She never had to remove her underwear or stand up for a second genital exam. I knew that she was going to tease me about the exam since her exam wasn't nearly as thorough. That was the last time we were examined together.

This definitely brings back memories. My brother and I were somewhat close in age (4 year difference) so we were pretty much the same size. I don't recall us both lying down on the exam table but definitely for things like vitals and reflexes, the nurse/doc would stand in the middle and do one of us to the left then one to the right. I suppose it was a time-saver on their end. I never had a problem being naked with my brother at the doctor because we shared a room and bathed together.

This was definitely a teenage fantasy of mine... to be examined by my pediatrician with a classmate in the exam room with me getting the same exam... watching one another... OMG 😳
