Favorite Positions for Temperature-Taking for diaper wearers

What’s your favourite position to take a rectal temperature and what’s the reason why? Also did you wear diapers as well during the RT to make you age regress further?

My favorite position for taking my own is just laying on my stomach. I can reach around easily enough from there and as long as I don't use too much Vaseline the thermometer stays in place on its own. If nausea doesn't let me lay on my stomach then the left side is the next best option.

I don't do diaper play but if I could find someone else to take my temperature I wouldn't mind trying it out in the diaper position. I think having the person holding my legs up and being able to see everything for the whole five minutes would be a fun addition to the embarrassment. Being able to look at the temperature taker would be part of it too.

My favorite position is laying on my tummy. I can insert the thermometer easily

Standing with undie slid aside just enough to allow thermometer access. The thermometer rests against undie.

Laying on my back the tip touches my prostate

Well, if you'd be in diapers anyway, the best time, and easiest way of your temperature to be taken is during a change.

So while laying on your back with your knees pulled up. Also the most fun way in my opinion 😉

My favorite position is to be face down otk or face down on the bed where I can see what's happening until just before I feel the thermometer slipping in to my bottom. This morning I was told to lay on my left side I was facing away from my taker. It was a sudden surprise when I felt the thermometer slipping in.

I think the best position in my opinion is when the giver puts me across his lap and takes my temperature that way so that no matter how much I fight cause I don't want it he'll hold me still

Two things; what type of thermometer do you or have you had used on you? I ask because I believe in the P.I. The mercury thermometer was pretty much phased out.

And having served in two Asian nations I believe the rectal method for adults was not common and underarm readings were. Thanks.

I would submit that on the tummy with pants and underwear down is the most preferred position. Over the lap runs a close second.

Over my partners knee. I taught her about rectal temps during covid and now we take the occasional rectal temperature as part of our sex play. I love to lie over her knee as she takes the role of the authoritarian nurse....

Actually I never had my temperature taken that way 😅 and you're right under arm reading as much more common but I do want my temperature taken that way.

Perhaps one day you will experience having your 98.6F or 37C checked rectally. You might find it rather pleasant and arousing!

As for the diaper position, no thanks. Rather on my stomach or over a caretaker’s lap which I’ve been.

While in the hospital a number of years ago for a clinical trial which I got paid to participate in and made aware that rectal temperatures were to be taken( which many volunteers on hearing opted out) , there were two nurses assigned to me. One was a Filipina, the other a Latina, both in their mid or late 20s and very attractive. They were quite adept at taking rectal temperatures too. Part of their duties in which as I soon realized as they did the procedure, were well trained.

They did various procedures including my vitals and I eagerly awaited their arrival ( not both together for vitals but for other things, yes)) for that.

Entering the room whichever one it was, would go to the cabinet next to my bed, take the thermometer out of the drawer, hold it up, read it, shake it down then lubricate it. it was time for my temperature taking and they would say something to the effect, “Time for your bottom to be checked” or “You know where I need to put this! Turn over, now!”

They had me roll over on my stomach, I had my pajama bottoms and my briefs pulled down, my cheeks spread and soon a glass mercury thermometer well placed up my rectum for 3 or so minutes. The thermometer was taken away and replaced with another sterilized one for the next check.

These days I have a friend who is a nurse and comes by. Her visits include rectal temperature takings and enemas ( coffee) for liver detox. I’ve also been given butt injections as well.

Diaper Position is the best for me

My favorite position is over my husbands lap or laying on the bed left side or tummy! When I take it myself I always lay on my side to insert and then roll onto my tummy while I wait!

Growing up my dad would always put me over his lap to take my temperature but mom would sometimes put me in the diaper position but usually she would also put me over her lap! At the doctor it was lying on the exam table or since I was not fond of the procedure then I was placed over one of my parents lap for better control!

Yes I have had my rectal temperature taken…..that’s how I remember it being done most all the time by my parents @ home and doctor visits by the nurse! I’m 42 and STILL take my temperature this way! It’s also done rectal @ the doctor during “sick visits”….”well checks” they do it on the forehead for time and convenience and b/c there is no need for an exact reading and if I’m not sick.

But yes I still take my temperature rectally @ home sick or not! I get the best results taken in the bottom! We only have an ear one, an oral one and a forehead one for my husband and our son

First of all, I have not worn diapers since the time I became house broken. lol. I have two favorite positions for temperature taking. Although close to the other one, I think my most favorite one is laying over my husbands knee fully dressed up and him taking the time to slide down, undo, or if already without wearing underwear. Second most favorite is laying on my tummy over a pillow while naked or in some sexy sleep wear including on occasion a pair of his boxer shorts and a tee (I like to mix things up a bit!!). Denise

For me it’s a toss-up between side with knees bent, and tummy. Usually side with knees bent because it’s what I most imagined when I was little and the only position I ever actually (once) had it taken in.

I prefer to be over my husbands lap when he takes it but when I do it solo I lay on my side to insert the thermometer and then either stay on my side or roll onto my tummy while I wait the 3 or 5 mins for it to register! I use a glass mercury thermometer (we have 2 of those) and I have a non-mercury basal thermometer. All 3 are specifically marked as rectal thermometers! #RectalTemperaturesAreBEST

I have two prefered positions for rectal temps.

The rirst one is on my stomatch. I think that is due to the fact that my mom took my temp in this position when I was younger.

The second one is in the diaper position, lying on my back, and pulling up my legs when my wife introduces the thermometer in my asshole.

I met a guy back when I was a freshman in college. I was 18 and he was 32. We got together on weekends to go places and to have fun in his apartment. One time I had an idea about treating him like a baby. He was much shorter than me and chubby and cute. So I got a white terrycloth bath towel, got some baby diaper safety pins that I still had at home from when I was an infant. I laid him on his back on his bed, raised his legs, and slipped the towel "diaper" under his bottom, pulled up the other end of the towel over his wee wee and fastened the diaper safety pin nice and securely. Then I sat him up on the bed and held him up under his armpits and bounced him up and down on the bed.

Then, I changed his "diaper", even though he didn't make pee pee or anything. I positioned him on his side, with his knees bent up, and his nice round hairy ass exposed. Then I opened his ass cheek to see his nice big manslit and inserted the rectal thermometer nice and deep in his asshole. As long as we were together I always took his temperature on the side position, because it emphasizes the roundness and sexiness of the male ass!
