Mine was like — ok , I feel. different , I felt more empowered and more self confident .

If anyone had noticed , I would not have cared .

Not a normal reaction for someone who suffers from anxiety ,

I remember they were the old style Attends from back in the middle 80’s with 6 tabs , 3 on each side.

I was amazed at how well they fit and felt .

It was so comforting and offered me a sense of self worth I never thought I could experience .

If I mentioned this to a therapist , they would try to over analyze the whole deal,

It was almost like I could conquer the world .

I went out for a walk and nobody ever gave a second glance .

As the warmth built so did the need to pee !! and of course not an easy thing to do . I tried and remember leaking a little and I decided to head back home . Took my clothes off and went in the shower and just let go !!

I was really surprised how much they held before overflowing .

Tossed them in a plastic bag and finished my shower , totally relaxed and I had not even orgasmed yet !!

That was kind of how I knew diapers would alway be a part of my life ,

Even to this day I do not wear all the time , just on certain days when I have nothing planed and I can retreat back to that safe place called …

Mastered it now, however, so now quick and form fitting.

It was odd at first. I didn’t have the right size diaper and it wasn’t a good diaper at that. It took a few trial and errors in buying different brands and putting them on different ways until I finally found my brand. Tykables. Like I said it was odd at first. I just sat there in my diaper. I could get it tight on my body I didn’t even know how to get it to hug my legs and waist correctly. But it started something I didn’t know I would need and love to use and wear so much. I’m forever a diaper boy.

When I started losing control of my legs It was frustrating but I looked on it as "I'm just getting old ". That progressed to needing more then just pull ups as they leaked so bad they were useless . I had let it get so bad so fast I was way past when I should have seen a doctor . A friend that is in a wheelchair and diapers for most of his life gave good advice on how to get a handle on what I needed to do . No more pull ups . Tape on's . Where to buy/order them online . What I needed to do to not be uncomfortable all day . I hate doctors with a passion . I avoid them at all cost . I make excuses not to see one if I can . So I lived with diapers for two years before I had a major stroke . At the hospital it was found that I had let a diaper rash get so bad that they were going to put me in a nursing home . I mean infected "holes" almost to the bone on my ass . It was a catheter from then till now {for the rest of my life} . It took more then a year to heal the rash on my butt .

So no I never wore diapers from wanting to but because I had to . I do understand why some do wear them because they want to . I understand .. It's not something that put's me off . Nobody's the same , But I'm not going to wear one again if I can help it .

In my country you could only get adult (medical) diapers at pharmacies those days. I went to all pharmacies that weren’t in my own town to get sample packs with very bad excuses/stories to get them (every bad story you can think of probably was used by me). I remember the first sample I got. I remember it being more of a pad rather than a Diaper. It was at a town some 45 minutes away from home and I was working in construction back then. I was doing some maintenance job at a resident with a very large garage. I went out for lunch, but instead of getting food I went to the local pharmacy to get a sample pack. When I came back I went straight to the basement of the garage and put the pad in my underwear. My heart was racing and I peed the pad right away. Less then a second after that I got hard and tried to masturbate, but didn’t get to that since I instantly came. I was very ashamed after that, but happy at the same time. I will forever remember that moment and am blessed that I have real diapers now that I can wear whenever I please.

It was weird. My mom had been pinning my diapers every night until I was 17 and I stopped wetting my bed. Less than a year later, I came home from college for the holidays and I asked my mom if could wear diapers and rubber pants to bed like I used to. I told her how hard it had been when I was away from home and not able to wear diapers and nearly begged her to let me wear diapers again. Mom told me since I had done so well, I could wear my old diapers and rubber pants when I was home, but I had to diaper myself because I was too old to have my mother continue to diaper me. That first night mom stayed with me while I pinned my diapers on making sure I did it right, but it's never been quite the same as when she diapered me. A couple of nights later my sister pinned my diapers on when I was telling her about my college life and that was better.

I'd say diapering myself as an adult is pretty much the same as diapering myself when I was little.

I started diapering myself when I started stealing my little sister's diapers and plastic panties when I about five years old.

I'd lift up, slip the diaper under me, and then tape it closed.

I've done some experimenting with some testing from the other end (most times after a good enema the night before, then early in the AM I'll shoot in a quickie solution of liquid glycerine, some baby shampoo, mixed into about 50 CC's or so of warm water, go back to sleep until the "storm starts".

I used them until I was 18 so I guess that is when I was officially an adult. So no big moment for me, same enjoyment as when I first tried them. After four years in the Navy I ordered the exact same diapers again.

1963 was the year I got my drivers license, graduated from high school, started college, stopped wetting my bed and no longer had an excuse for wearing diapers and rubber pants. I was 22 but was still "at home". I don't drive, so I had to take a bus to a drug store, bringing along a backpack. I went in and got a pack of generic-brand diapers. It was the tall kind of pack and I guess had 22 or so. After paying for them, I got them in a plastic bag, but knew I couldn't take them on the bus as is. So right outside the door I tried to quickly work to put them in the backpack. They just barely fit enough. I think I was able to zip it shut, but don't totally recall.

I got them home and I don't remember if it was the same day or another when I was by myself. With a huge feeling of anticipation that "this is actually happening, I'm going to wear a diaper", I opened the pack and examined one. It had three tapes on each side and a bit of an odor to it that I haven't smelled on other diapers. I decided to put it on in the bathroom for some reason. I think I either stood up and brought it around myself and tried to fasten it both that way and through sitting on the toilet. It took a bit of finagling. I didn't have an issue going in it as I was already mentally prepared for that.

Never a transition for me. I’ve diapered myself every night for bedwetting. Maybe the only transition was going 24/7 about 20 years ago with quality disposables during the day, sticking with my think cloth diapers with plastic pants at night. Daytimes were always stressful having to find toilets 15+ times a day and too much leaking. Full time dipers removed all that stress. I’m blessed that I never have and skin irritations even though I’m wet 75+% of the time.

In Argentina, pre-folded diapers are called straight diapers.

And yes, it is preferable to buy anatomical diapers with elastics and two or three tapes.
