Cloth nappies

I do use disposable nappies/ diapers often to poop into , with the aid of either soap or suppositories, when ive pooped i empt nappy into toilet and bin the dirty diaper, if i were to use cloth ones, how many layers of towelling should i use , or is there a best way to lessen the mess on the towelling ?

I prefer the old-fashioned cloth nappies, together with rubber panties. Or serious plastic panties.

But I have to agree with you that they are not so good when it comes to putting the big one in the nappy. I once read that there is a type of fabric that stops the stinky mess. It must be a type of film nappy that lets the wetness through but retains solid material. It is used for babies, but I don't know where to buy it at the moment.

So I would recommend using disposable nappies with an extra liner. Or cloth nappies with a disposable insert that can be thrown away.

I use cloth inserts inside my cloth diapers so when I poop in my diapers most of the mess in contained within the insert which makes diaper changes and cleanup simpler and faster. I could use a disposable liner instead and that would probably be even more convenient, but I'm so used to the feel of cloth around my wee-wee and bottom and love how it makes me feel. I don't mind doing diaper laundry and since I wear cloth diapers exclusively, adding cloth inserts to my laundry is no big deal. Of course I always wear a nice pair of rubber pants over my diapers.

Get some muslin clothe as a liner

I can't imagine messing in clothes diapers, it's bad enough in a disposable diaper.

It's a big enough chore cleaning up with a disposable diaper which is later put in trash. But with a cloth diapers I would think that it would be necessary to hand wash the majority of the mess out before putting the diaper in the washer.

I don't care for messing in a diaper regardless of disposable and definitely not cloth diapers. Just my opinion.

Like many other aspects of this, if you're into cloth diapers and like to load them, the rest is worth it. I compare it to preparing a big meal, using lots of dishes, trashing the kitchen--all so you can enjoy a wonderful dinner--then you have to clean up the kitchen. Which is why I don't do it often, but when I do it, it's great.

You can lessen the clean-up by wearing a pair of "containment" panties inside of your diapers. Then you toss the diapers in the washer and clean up the panties (I will empty most of it in the toilet then wash off the rest in the shower as I'm cleaning up the rest of me).

But if I'm just wearing thick wet cloth diapers and suddenly have the urge to be babyish and load them, I love it and love getting me off in them. And the clean-up is a pain, I usually rinse them off in the shower then wash them. It takes about an hour to rinse off the diapers, then clean up myself, then clean the shower. And this smells up the entire bathroom / adjoining bedroom for another hour or two. So, even though my wife knows I like to do this, I usually only do it when she's not home.

I don’t discriminate against diapers whatever my aide puts on me gets used since I can’t control when & where or what diaper is on duty , typically I only wear disposables for going out , they have better odor control then the cloth I use well at home , my aide cleans my messed diapers with a swish in toilet and handheld sprayer connected to toilet . My house has been completely customized to be a quad safe environment ( quads use a lot of diapers) ,the only time I am not diapered is for personal care my aide takes control inserting catheters and connected to drain bag ) since I don’t feel much there ain’t much difference going in a bag or diaper from my end

I don't mess my nappies I just wet them. I find the clean up to much of a problem
