The Boy in the Mushroom Speedo

I wonder if others recall scenes from their youth that they still enjoy reminiscing about.

I still remember a young guy wearing a Speedo. I was probably between 16 and 18 years old when it occurred. I was working in a small neighborhood grocery store. A young guy came in the store. He was wearing a t-shirt, a Speedo and probably flip flops. It was a green and brown colored printed Speedo with images of mushrooms on it. It caught my eye immediately. I am sure that I probably took in the visual longer than a polite glance. There wasn’t any VPL and that didn’t matter. It was just this adorable young guy wearing a Speedo where the t-shirt just covered the upper edge of his swimsuit but not enough to inhibit my glance.

I don’t know if it was Mark Spitz — Summer Olympics 1972 — or this young guy who drew my attention first to men in Speedos.

One needs to define youth... some isnthe seventies, some is the eighties etc. I believe that when one uses Matk Spitz we're looking at the early seventies.
