How to get rid of erections?

I have been self-locked in chastity pretty much 24/7 since 1 October 2022 (only take my cage off for shower and only had 1 orgasm since). I am wondering if there is a (healthy) way to reduce erections (or get rid of them completely)? The only way I've heard of is HRT (hormone replacement therapy), but I am not sure I would like to go down this way as I still like to present myself as a normal guy outside…

What aspect of the morning wood is painful? Is it pulling on your balls, the ring rubbing/stinging or something else? If it's pressure/friction pain on the underside, then a different cage (perhaps metal) could help (plastic cages make me very sore, but metal rings with not hinges are fine for me).

I was going to suggest a smaller cage, to contain the penis more and give less opportunity for growth, stopping things before they get too big. But it looks quite well fitting in your photo - no space between your penis and the end of the cage?

A common recommendation is to urinate when you have night time/morning erections, which should help things go down. But that deals with the symptoms rather than being preventative, unless you can make extra sure to empty your bladder before bed.
