Has anyone ever received the long slender suppositories instead of the short ones?

In fact the only suppositories I recall getting as a child from Mom were the long slender ones. I don't know that I knew the more standard variety existed until I was 9 or 10 when I saw a jar of them in the laxative isle at our local pharmacy. I loved perusing that isle which also featured fever thermometers and enema bags. I had always thought, when I was old enough to think about such things, that this specific configuration was so Mom could grasp it and move it gently in and out of my little bottom as I lay across her lap.

I'd love to recive one, in fact that's one of my fantasies... even better if it's a bit thicker 😉 I would really love to get on all four, being told to relax and then feeling my tiny asshole being slowly spread by the tip of the suppository... for it to just being retrieved and then being pushed back in, slowly, and deeper each time... some spanking while the suppository it's halfway in would be a dream, so i would feel it in my hole even more...

My youngest brother is 10 years younger than me so I saw things done to him as a baby that probably was done to me when I was that age even though I don’t remember it.

When he was still in diapers, when changing him, I saw mom slip what looked to me like an icicle into his butt. I asked her why she did that and she replied that it wasn’t ice but medicine to make him poop. Later, I noticed she put a small blue jar in the fridge. At the time it didn’t register but later I learned it was a jar of Squibb glycerin suppositories and they were long and skinny. I don’t remember getting any of those but based on what I saw with my brother, we got suppositories while in diapers and then enemas with the red bulb after we were potty trained.

I'll bite - what is a 'long slender suppository? Brand? Links to images? I received a suppository in hospital in the late 50's, but, if memory serves, it was pretty much the same as what the suppositories I see/use today.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I wish I could have taken your place. That's exactly the kind of treatment I wish I'd received. I needed to be given those long, thin suppositories in a way that really hurt and involved extended retention.

I remember those. Squibb made them. The jar sat in the medicine cabinet, out of the way. I do not recall them being used on me, but must have been before mom started giving me enemas for constipation around age four.

I did snoop in relatives bathrooms during family gatherings and came across a jar of them while visiting an aunt when I was older. I gave myself one to see what it would do but it took seemingly forever so I had to pass it out before an adult noticed how long I was taking in the bathroom.

Yup, I remember the long, slender suppositories...If I remember CORRECTLY they were labeled as "Infant" or "Children's" suppositories. I can't guess why, but the idea of a lady sliding one up my butt right now is enticing!!

I am an 80’s baby but I seem to recall long slender fleet suppositories I think they were the kid ones….the adult ones were (and still are) shorter and stubby

My daughter received the long infant glycerin suppositories when they were babies. The suppository was inserted in the diaper position and held for five minutes. Then I slowly pulled the suppository out but not fully then slowly slid it back in. This was repeated until a bowel movement. Usually took 15 to minutes. They worked well.

@Kathy4161 You mentioned that this takes about 15 minutes!! does it only work if you keep repeating the in and out motion until there’s a bowel movement? Or can the suppository be inserted once and left in place? I’m not familiar with this type of long, slender suppositories, are they still commonly used today?

@suppogivlover The back and forth movements stimulate the urge to poop, but if the suppository is inserted it will also have an effect. Unfortunately they don't make this type of suppository anymore, they were great.

Grab some glycerin suppositories, and melt them down in a microwave. Pour the liquid glycerin in one of these: https://smokersheavenshop.com/product/joint-holders/ (yes 😄 ), and leave to set. You might want to coat the inside of the tubes with a bit of oil or something prior to pouring in the glycerin, to ensure an easy release.

So after they've solidified, remove, and voila, a replica of a long and thin "infant" suppository.

I do wonder if it would be possible to also add ingredients like bisacodyl for a bit of an extra kick 😃

@Anne20 were you able to tolerate that? because the insertion time is actually quite long, if around 10–15 minutes, during which you have to stay in position and quite exposed the whole time. I also wonder how comfortable fully inserting it would be, given how long and slender it is. Wouldn’t that be painful and feeling something is up there the whole time?

I've tried this with glycerin suppositories, all was fine, but the end product isn't solid enough to effectively slide in and out, it's very wobbly and jelly like. I have made larger and thicker suppositories from melted glycerin suppositories and these work well. But alas, the thin suppositories just don't work.

Were the original infant glycerin suppositories more rigid to allow the repeated in and out insertion?

I can recall receiving suppositories like this from my grandmother probably when I was 6 or 7 - they were in an opaque brown jar in the medicine cabinet. They were not smooth like today’s and hurt going in even with Vaseline. I did not receive many suppositories compared to enemas but this memory sticks out

@suppogivlover When half of the suppository was inserted to make the back and forth movements it didn't hurt, I felt a discomfort of having something there in the anus for a long time. At that time I hated suppository, but it was not because of the pain but because of the embarrassment, lack of control and other sensations that the situation caused. After a few minutes of making the movements with the suppository, the cramps and the desire to poop began, my mother encouraged me to hold on a little longer, and at that time I was already crying. Usually the position was lying on my back, with the legs raised, which made the situation more embarrassing. When I was no longer able to bear the suppository there, my mother inserted it deeply. Yes, feeling it inside the butt was uncomfortable. Despite everything, they worked very well.

These will be 4.33 inches long, .4 inches at the tip and .66 inches at the back. Nice size. It will stay in nicely and the long length will feel invasive. And yes, I don't know of any reason not to melt bisacodyl in there for some "persuasive effects". I'll have to try this. This could result in some pleasant and possibly unforeseen explosive results !!! Out now to find some of those tubes.
