Why do porn actresses enjoy gynecological examinations?

I am no expert in what motivates someone to make a porn movie. I don't think that most of these actors/actresses get paid much and often risk contracting an illness. One should not mistake acting for enjoyment or those that engage in rough sex as being fun. It's all make believe. In grad school, I decided to interview female strippers trying to identify their motivation. Most needed money, often to support a child due to a deadbeat father. Others were clearly drug involved. No one was there to meet "Mr. Right!" The strip clubs were shabby and hardly one's pathway to fame. Off stage, these women had other lives. No one wished to declare herself as a stripper let alone a budding porn star. I couldn't help feel sad for most of them. These were someone's daughter or sister. Several had trauma histories as well. None of them had good relationships. My message is this, what we see often has little to do with the reality of these folks. We should remember that they are human beings being paid to engage our fantasies!
