Does anyone have experience with implanted peripheral/spinal nerve stimulators?

Does anyone here have experience with implanted peripheral/spinal nerve stimulators?

I tried a device made by SPRint but it was a 60 day external device with implanted lead wires. It worked great but the theory was that the nerves would learn to ignore pain signals after 60 days of continuous use. Sadly, the pain returned a week after the lead wires were removed.

Treatnent is for occipital neuralgia, with lead wires implanted at C2 level.

A friend of ours is looking into Vagus Nerve Stimulation……I have no experience with it nor what it really does.
