Fussy diapers

How many of us are fussy about our diapers? Some folks have a diaper on that looks like it has been through the mill, others are perfectly fit folded and secured. Which of these are you?

I am a fussy asshole so mine are the formentioned perfect fold, fit, and secured.

I definitely fall on the fussy side of the spectrum when it comes to my both my diapers and my rubber pants. This may stem from the way my mother tended to my diapering when I was a teen. This was all before adult sized prefold cloth diapers were available, so my mom would fold sever flat cloth diapers together in a certain way she really liked so they would fit tightly around my legs and waist and then used two pins on both sides to make sure they were tight around my thighs and my waist. And after my diapers were pinned, she would pull my rubber pants up and make sure my rubber pants fit over all parts of my diapers including around my thighs. Once I left home for good, I tried to do the same thing mom when I diapered myself, usually pinning three or four flat diapers together like mom did. Once adult sized prefolds became available I started using them exclusively along with using two diaper pins on each side. For many years now, cloth prefolds have been available in colors and patterns and my wife likes to match my diapers, rubber pants and pins. She seems to have a preference for pink, so I'm often now in pink diapers, often with toddler patterns and rubber pants to match. Just like mom, she is very careful to make sure they fit properly and my rubber pants cover my diapers completely.

My Mom was a four pinner as well.

My aide is very precise , a bad diaper job means leaks and a bad diaper job doesn’t let itself be known until you need a wardrobe change and your chair and restraints cleaned.

average day involves getting me dressed/undressed in/ out of bed/chair changed 4-9 X’s .

precision diapering keeps me Contained and controlled 98% of the time , I would say the other 2% is diapers being diapers , they just sometimes leak Despite everything done as Perfectly as possible .

I am a very fussy nappy wearer, they have to be level at the tops and taped at just the right point being equal on both sides, also the fold where the Nappy crosses your but must be smooth and and the Nappy shaped to fit my butt crack removing the flat horizontal bar across the butt.

No lopsided diapers for this fussy diapered butt. I must have a well fitted diaper. A poor fitted diaper leads to leaks. I've seen pictures and videos where it was obvious that the person who put the diaper on had no clue.

The diaper was either not the right size, uneven from side to side, uneven front to back. How uncomfortable and looks ridiculous. My diapers do a good job providing protection, so in return shouldn't my diaper look as good?

I agree, diapers need to fit properly. One of the biggest drawbacks with cloth diapers is that the material stretches over time. As it gets wetter, gravity pulls it down, down, down… If it doesn't fit really well when it is clean and dry, how will that diaper look and feel after a couple of wettings? It has taken me a while to get the fit just right, and some of my pictures will attest to the fact that they were not always the right size.

I tend to like my diapers to look kind of like a padded brief when on. I don't like a bunch of plastic hanging out or my tapes to be haphazardly placed I like nice straight seams and my legs still look symmetrical so yes I guess I am kind of picky at how I might diaper looks.
