Has anyone seen 'the Girlfriend Experience season 3' ?

I was wondering if anyone has seen ‘the Girlfriend Experience season 3’?

It is a bit different from the first two seasons. It does involve the selling of sex for money as in the first 2 seasons, but only superficially. The main theme is about a company trying to teach an A.I. how to supply Virtual Sex to customers and be able to deliver what the customer is looking for, especially subconsciously, in a sexual partner. In other words, they want to train an A.I. to be able to read a customer's sexual wants and needs and then deliver.

All fine and well. If any company ever succeeds, I'd probably be a willing customer.

However when it comes to setting the parameters for what a random person finds attractive in a sexual partner, the show posits, to my thinking, an odd set of axioms. The A.I. is trained to look for mirror points, actual physical mirror attributes from a customer and then apply those mirrored attributes to a Virtual Sex partner. In other words, the more the Virtual Sex partner looks like the customer, the more attraction there supposedly is.

I don't know if this was just done for the show or if there is any theory of sexual attraction that posits this. For myself, I'd not wish for a sexual partner to resemble myself, certainly not physically. When i think on the kinds of people I find sexually attractive, I come up with people who do not look like me at all physically.

So, wondering what others think of this?

Btw: there is no nudity in this season, not even breasts. But the main character is quite stunning and can change appearance with ease. Moreover her wardrobe includes some of the most stunningly erotic clothing I have seen that still covers all the naughty parts.

That might be an easy premise to write plots around, but I don't think it reflects real life sexual dynamics. I think that as children grow, most imprint on those around them to form their sexual tastes. Perhaps a subset are more attracted to themselves than others, but not the majority.

Just my opinion, not having seen the show.

Might have been better (interesting, comical?)if the Virtual Sex partner turned out to look more like the customer's mother…

@reddevil - OK, now I'm trying to figure that one out. Would that represent the male version of an Electra complex? If so, we may have an entirely new psychosexual aberration and we have to come up with a name for it…momenema complex? Not really that clever…any suggestions? (lol)

P.S. I think Girlfriend Experience is on Starz…damn, now I have to subscribe to ANOTHER streaming service…AND find a good book/treatise on the current state of AI!!!!!
