Physical Exam Question For Men With Foreskin

My pediatrician would retract mine for me from the earliest exam I could remember five years old for my back to school exam until I was 15 years old. Then I changed doctors and that doctor retracted it as well. At 17 i changed doctors again and this doctor asked me to retract it at my exams.

Whenever I have had a complete genital exam (getting less frequent) the doctor is the one who has always retracted the foreskin.

In my exams at school, I can remember being asked to retract it myself once, but most times the doc would say something like "as you're uncircumcised, I'm going to roll your foreskin down to have a peek underneath".

I had my foreskin retracted during all school exams, every development follow-up exam and also during military services exams.

If you think back about it, you start wondering why a foreskin is something that important that is has to be pulled back at least as far as it can go.

I don't see it as medically that important as in a lot of cases it is cut away without hesitation, but when you have it, it seems they want to see what's hiding

underneath. Strange :-D
