State of dress at the chiropractor

Question for the female chiropractic patients. What state of undress do you get your treatment in? Fully clothed, in a bra, bra with a gown, gown only above the waist, topless.

I haven't seen a chiropractor in probably 10 years. The last one I saw had me in just my panties with a gown for treatments with her.

Yep.

My ex girlfriend would be required to put on a gown. She often had her coccyx (tailbone) adjusted, which is done rectally. There was never a chaperone present for those adjustments, and I never felt things were quite right about that.

I had xrays in a gown, but adjustments fully dressed.

There are a few adjustments for the low back, sacrum and coccyx that can only be achieved via the rectum that a physiotherapist, physical therapist, osteopath, chiropractor will do with the specialized training. Not all of them do it. This is legitimate. They don’t get off on it. This is a technique they resort to if it’s absolutely necessary. I hope this information is helpful.

Spinal adjustment through the rectum is something I never new existed but I guess it makes sense. Larry Nassar may have used it on his gymnists but I believe he got in trouble for being in the wrong hole.

Shorts, T-Shirt, no shoes

This is interesting to me… It’s very unusual in the UK to see a chiropractor. They’re not considered ‘real’ doctors and are much more regulated than I understand they are in the US (especially with regard to using the title ‘doctor,’ since they are not medical doctors, and claiming they can cure colic in infants or lumbago or whatever else…). The NHS does not generally cover chiropractic care except in very extraordinary circumstances, and GPs will send you to a physiotherapist, not a chiropractor. British medical journals are quite scathing about the entire field, as research has shown there is no medical evidence that chiropractic treatment helps anything at all, and it can be quite harmful. It’s generally considered to be pseudoscience founded by an American looking to take advantage. Im not saying that’s in any way necessarily true - but it is the general perception here.

If you do go, you’re almost certainly paying out of pocket and without referral. I have never been to one myself.

Having said that, I have one or two friends who have been. I don’t know about the first girl but I know the other kept her clothes on, as she complained that her bra strap dug in when she was adjusted.

My wife has been to several chiropractors. One always had her put on a gown while he did his manipulations. She often did not wear a bra back then, so she would just have on panties, and as he bent her in different directions often her breasts would come into view. or her panty covered bottom. It was pretty cool.

She wore a back brace for a time, and once we went to a new chiropractor to see if he would adjust it. We really just wanted to expose her to someone. the brace did not really need adjusting.

She was wearing a bulky sweater over the brace and after talking to us he told her to take her sweater off and he would be right back in. He did not realize that she did not have a shirt on under the sweater and she was not wearing a bra under her back brace.

So when he came back in she was standing there in the brace with her young breasts fully on display to him.

His eyes got huge! He stuttered and stammered for several seconds and then said, “oh okay, you don't need to wear it, it is not the type of brace that I can adjust. Why don't you slip that gown on and I will be right back.”

He was clearly very flustered and seemed to be trying to turn away and not look, but he kept looking back at her breasts. He then just stared for several seconds, like he was trying to figure out what to say and then he just left.
