Diapers in the movies/TV

Something that I have noticed since I can remember is refrences to diapers be it in movies or tv series's and I have noticed more and more refrences to it in 2022.

A comon on is someone saying “before you where in diapers”. Or “that kid is barely out of diapers” and other refrences either with reference to adult diapers or baby's.

Even sometimes mentioning particular brands such as pampers Or others.

And as someone who has had to wear diapers since 2010 this has got me interested has anyone else come across this?

Occasions when ive seen diapers in movies/tv

The first movie I can remember seeing with an adult wearing diapers was one from the 1970's when a family is kidnapped and tortured by bad guys then they get free or escape, the cut scene then goes into the father signalling for help using a reflective object. And being rescued by huey helicopter.

Once hes rushed to hospital its immerged that he has to wear diapers from that point forward due to the father being beaten so badly he almost dies this is when it then ends with him in hospital being diapred bh an ordally/hospital worker be it a nurse or doctor.

Another one I remember is a movie where a bus load of tourists are arrested or abducted by a bad guy and thrown into a dungeon diring this time the eldest male is forced to wear diapers.

The scene portraus a certain sigourny Williams as Ripley is seen coming out of cryo sleep wearing a diaper the scene which was deleted/cut is included in extras I believe, although please feel free to correct me if Iam wrong.

And then the 1992 movie stop or my mom will shoot when Silvester Stallone is seen in a diaper during a nightmare dream scene.

There was also the 1990's music video by mtv when a child of 6-8 is portrayed as a baby.

And ther'e is the 2005 CSI las vagas episode named king baby when the forensics team are called in to investigate a body of a man in an underground adult sized baby nursary.

Also there's the scene from greys anatomy when at least 2 paitents are seen wearing diapers before they under-go surgery.

But on the note of hospital dramas I heard you can volunteer to be in diapers whildt portraying Paitents as an extra in hospital dramas or movies if thats true sign me up…

There are others although this list would be too long if I mentioned them all.

Well im watching Ghostbusters afterlife. The female child actor is wearing a diaper. U can firs see it when she finds the ghost trap , but the other sence it very noticeable. That why she wearing lose clothes.

I can remember a few shows with adults and older children wearing diapers. The first one that I remember was on the show “Emergency”. This was in the early to mid 70's. Jonny and Roy the Paramedics responded to a call where there was a fraternity hazing going on. Several of the new plebes were wearing adult cloth diapers. The other show I remember was the show “The Middle”. The Heck's were the main family in the show and one of their neighbors kid was seen quite frequently running around wearing a Goodnite. The Goodnite looked to be a little swollen a few times too.

I seem to remember a cloth diaper change scene in the movie “one flew over the cuckoo's nest”

The movie "Bad Girls from Valley High" had three women being hexed. The gorgeous Julie Benz grows older and starts to become incontinent. She buys diapers at the store and pees all over the floor. Later she is on the phone and casually gets up to reveal a diaper which crinkles. I think it might have been an actual adult diaper that probably had other stuff under it to make it poofier.

Not an actual diaper, but in the movie "Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar", Annie Mumolo's character mentions to a guy how Kristen Wiig's character dressed up like a baby for a Halloween party. She says "She wore a diaper. Only a diaper."

In the show "I Survived a Japanese Game Show", contestants had one challenge in which they needed to wear baby outfits which included comically large cloth diapers (not real diapers). I recall that the nicest looking girl on the show, in her one-on-one interview, said "I'm wearing a diaper. Awesome" in sardonic fashion.

I never actually watched the show because it only aired in Britain, but "Space Cadets" had people duped into believing they were going to be astronauts, including putting on diapers for the launch. I'm not sure how graphic they got in showing actual diapers or the people wearing them.

(Spoilers, if you care.) Not a "sexy" appearance, but in an episode of the show "The Killing", Peter Sarsgaard's character is being prepped to be hung for something he didn't do, and they put a diaper on him. It's not shown in full, just a quick shot of its side as they tape it on.

Great line in this IFC show called Z Rock with all the famous roast celebs. Big Jay Oakerson’s character is a pervert and has all the best lines. He’s at his sister’s house talking to the band and comments, “I remember crawling around the floors of this apartment with no clothes on”

The band mate replies, “oh really? So you grew up here since you were a baby?”

Jay replies, “no, it was a few weeks ago, but I was in a diaper.” 💀☠️😵

Yes, Thank you I did get that wrong. I was thinking about a movie called Awakenings near the end of the story.

The new movie "The Front Room" in theaters has some diaper content that is unpleasant. It's a horror movie about a couple that brings the husband's aged stepmother to live with them. At one point she covers up a puddle on the couch with a pillow and is found out by the wife. Then a smell comes from her at dinner, and in an awkwardly done moment, the wife says the woman is incontinent even though the woman doesn't want to talk about it. She eventually starts annoying them by shitting her bed and causing an unbelievable smell for them, and they have to clean her. In one scene the husband, who has a newborn as well, goes into her room saying he got diapers, of the adult kind. He quickly holds up a package upside down which is green and appears to be Depend, but I couldn't tell if it was pull-ups or diapers. At any rate, a few scenes later he is helping her along on her two walking sticks with her dress ridden up and her diaper exposed. It's a bit dim but appears to be a tape-on, but it's probably a movie-made diaper, not a standard brand diaper. The actress is Kathryn Hunter who is made up to look older than she is.

They two women are actually surgical nurses, not doctors. The two were in competition who could stay in the operating room with out a pee break, to gain recognition with the surgeon. One finally gets to help but i the surgery is canceled, they are both shown walking away with huge noticeable diapers under their scrub pants, and you can hear them. It was in the novel. Chief has a delusion that when he wets himself there are wires that detect it and let the orderlies know to change him.
