Grandmother was the educator of my family in the science of good health practices. She would always give us a spring tonic followed the following morning with an enema. Bulb syringes and following expelling thick diapers for the little ones.
It would be too suspicious if the girl asked her mother to teach her how to give her brother an enema, or if the mother specially taught this to her daughter. Girlfriend is another matter. .. And the age difference between brother and sister should be big, I think
I believe mom's definitely taught daughters to give enemas. Maybe not all, but some mom's also taught the erotic aspects of giving to young males and their response with orgasms and ejaculations. When daughters married they should know the power and control aspects of giving hubby a really good enema with oral to completion.A really bonding and control technigue that would have manifested in cunnilingus before copulation. So many guys, so few get enemas
My mom really didn't teach me how to take an enema. I really learned by watching her prepare and take enemas during her monthly fasting/enema routine. No I never gave anyone else and enema until much later in life when I started giving my husband an enema now and then.Dita
There was no older daughter in our family (my sister is much younger than I), so I have no personal experience.I know a woman who has several younger siblings. When she was a teen, in the early 60s, her mother taught her how to give enemas so she could help out when her younger brothers and sisters were under the weather. She doesn't know if she would have been assigned “enema duty” if she hadn't planned to go to nursing school.
My mom would sometimes let my two sisters into the bathroom so they could watch her give me enemas,i would protest and raise hell and my sisters would laugh and giggle about my hardon!,finally my father who was down stairs reading the paper would yell “whats going on up there” and then mom would kick my sisters out so she could finish my enema in peace!
@codjer said,My mom would sometimes let my two sisters into the bathroom so they could watch her give me enemas…Mom first started letting our sister help give my brother and I enemas a year or so after she moved our enemas from the bedroom to the bathroom. I was ten at the time, so my brother was nine, and our sister was eight. My siblings and I shared a bedroom, because our house only had two bedrooms and one bath, so nudity between us wasn't an issue. From the beginning, mom gave us enemas in our bedroom, laying across a bed together. So, seeing our siblings get an enema wasn't anything new. It was something that happened occasionally. We'd been getting enemas in the bathroom together for about a year when mom started letting our sister hold the rectal nozzle in place once she put it in. Our sister would hold it during the flow and while we held it for five minutes. When the hold time was up, mom let her remove the nozzle. This happened a few times, then mom started letting our sister put the rectal nozzle in place. That's when my brother and I bitched about it, so mom started letting us help with our sister's enemas. After this happened, over the next three or four months, mom slowly let us do more and more until we were doing each other’s enemas under her supervision.By age seven, I was getting a hard-on every time I got an enema, and my brother wasn't too far behind me. Our sister giggled about it at first, but mom told her it was normal for little boys to get stiff when they got an enema. As we got older, she started asking us questions about how it felt when it got hard. Once she started asking us questions, it went both ways, my brother and I asked her just as many questions.
Back when I was a child it was probably pretty common for mothers to teach their daughters how to give enemas. If not through direct instruction but learning from experience. I have no doubt that my mother learned from grandma, and I also remember mom explaining to me step by step what she was doing as she gave me an enema. Maybe the goal was not so much teaching me how to give an enema as much as trying to make me more comfortable and less resistant to getting the enema from her by explaining what was happening and why. Anyway, it worked. One of the key things mom taught me when she was giving me an enema with a bulb was to “burp” the bulb. That was: squeeze the bulb and put the nozzle into the water and draw in as much as possible, then tip the nozzle up and slowly squeeze the bulb until water comes out of the nozzle, then-holding the bulb squeezed, put the nozzle back in the water before releasing the bulb. That results in a full bulb with little or no air in it. That, and if you can hold the enema for a few minutes before letting it out, it is more effective with smaller volumes. Mom never had any reason to ask me to give anyone an enema, but my sister and I learned very early how to give each other and ourselves enemas just because it was fun.
My siblings and I stayed with our grandmother (a retired RN) for four to six weeks once school was out for the summer. She taught moms two young teenage sisters how to take care of us early on. I was around six when she used my brother and I as her subjects when she taught her two daughters (our aunts) how to give enemas to children. Afterwards, it was the girl's responsibility to give us enemas when grandma requested. Sometimes the enemas were done in private, but mainly they were done together at bath time in the evening. However, grandma still gave us enemas in private occasionally. It continued like this until the summer I turned twelve, when grandma taught us personal hygiene and enemas became our responsibility.
I always thought it unfair that my older sister got to watch me get an enema, but I was excluded when it was her turn. If I managed to watch the preparation, or even sneak a peek at her position preceding the actual administration, I was treated like a little pervert. Perhaps that is my issue these days. I just love seeing others get an enema! Was mom just teaching her?
I was the oldest sibling and never received an enema from my younger sister but did receive enemas from older female cousins that my aunts felt would be good experience for them.To keep on topic we had a maid and my mom totally entrusted my care to her. She had one daughter who was about fifteen with no siblings. I was fourteen and sick with the flu and my mom told her to give me an enema. She asked my mom if it would be okay for her daughter to assist so she could learn. My mom replied of course if she’s going to be a nurse or have a family some day she needs to know what to do.There was some awkwardness as the maid hadn’t given me an enema a since I was ten and now I was a teenager in full blown puberty and since her daughter was an only child I assume (back then) she had never seen a teenage boy naked. After getting over the embarrassment of stripping naked, I was given two enemas. Later that evening when my fever did not go down I was given a cold sponge bath by both of them.
My mom taught me how to make up enema and administer it but on myself, curiosity and mutual like of enemas was only reason swapped some with my brother when we were home alone.
Perhaps they did, or perhaps they didn't. Regardless, it's always fun to hear the anecdotal accounts of how we acquired our enema knowledge and practices, based on family beliefs and traditions. On Zity, we are a vast community that spans the world and is represented by a diverse age group, from the Golden Age to the Fleet's age, and all the stories are incredibly interesting, as well as many times very titillating.
Put me in the group that thinks this is mostly a thin plot, (aren't they all), for a porn flick. Its not exactly rocket science. I can see some occasional instruction if there was a person in the family with a health or medical need for an enema, but if we are talking about a recreational user its probably just fodder for the porn mill.
My colon hydrotherapist, who is in her 50s, has told me a few times about how she’s taught her daughters how to do enemas, as well as douche with heal-all tea like she does. She also gives her daughters regular colonics. Two other hydrotherapists I’ve been to a few times have also shared that they give their daughters colonics as well.
My mother and all of my aunts on my mother's side of the family used soapsuds enemas on me and my cousins whenever a dose of laxative failed to produce the desired results so I have to assume that my grandmother gave my Mom, aunts and uncles enemas and taught my aunts to do the same to me and my cousins. My grandmother also seemed to take the reins when me and 3 of my boy cousins were given a "spring cleaning" while staying at her home during the Easter Holidays. This involved several doses of laxative and a soapsuds enema to clean us out before we were given several doses of worm medicine followed by another dose of laxative and another soapsuds enema to make sure any worms were cleaned out of our bowels. It was my grandmother who gave us the enemas with my mother and my aunt assisting by holding us still as we crouched down in knee-chest position in the bathtub while the hot soapy water was filling our bowels.
They did? I’m not aware of that happening, personally, but some of the posts have claimed that the older daughters were taught by their mothers how to use a rectal thermometer, by demonstrating on a younger sibling. I knew a woman whose mother taught her how to take her own temperature rectally, by showing her daughter how to use it on herself. She said that it was a humiliating experience, especially since she was a teenager, and hated to have it taken that way. She said that when her mother took it, it would hurt, so she preferred to do it herself.
Once anyone has been given a few enemas, I would think they’d know how to administer one. It’s easier than assembling a desk from IKEA, and no one teaches you how to do that.
@Iris1858 Maybe some indications about quantity temperature etc that one would not know if one had only received from others?
@Iris1858 said,Once anyone has been given a few enemas, I would think they’d know how to administer one. That’s quite true. By age seven or eight, mom's younger sisters were letting us help give our siblings enemas. Our aunts were much closer in age to us than mom. And the older of the two girls, was only six years older than me. So, they were more like siblings than aunts. However, before they let us help give one another enemas, the older of the two girls, demonstrated what to do using her younger sister as her subject. Much like grandma, when she taught the girls how to give children enemas, using me and my brother as her subjects. So, as a rule, whenever we helped give our siblings enemas, we were under their supervision. Mom's sisters were first to let us help, then a year or so later, mom did likewise. In the beginning, mom only let our sister give me and my brother enemas. It wasn’t until we both bitched about it, that she let my brother and I take turns giving our sister enemas. Then, the summer I turned twelve, grandma taught us personal hygiene and enemas became our responsibility.
Not just older sisters, but older female cousins, were taught how to give enemas.Mom was an RN working the night shift. She had my older, female cousins watch me as she slept. At that point in time, I was having chronic earaches and was on a med that made me constipated. So, every morning my cousins gave me three, very soapy enemas and two plain water rinse enemas. I got the same series in the evening before my bath and was never constipated. I loved my enemas, espescially from my cousins, as they were a few years older than me and were learning about “ stuff,” which made my enemas a lot more interesting than Mom’s enemas.
So, every morning my cousins gave me three, very soapy enemas and two plain water rinse enemas. I got the same series in the evening before my bath and was never constipated.Wow, 10 enemas a day during your period of illness sounds a little excessive, even to me.
Wow, 10 enemas a day during your period of illness sounds a little excessive, even to me.Sounds excessive to me too! Were these small bulb enemas?
@sse4me said,So, every morning my cousins gave me three, very soapy enemas and two plain water rinse enemas. When mom, grandma, or our teenage aunts gave us enemas for constipation as kids, we received a soapy followed by a rinse enema. Occasionally, we’d receive a second rinse enema, if mom or grandma didn’t like the results. We always got at least a quart from a douche/enema bag, never a bulb. And by the time I was ten years old, me and my brother both received two quarts and our sister a quart and half. There were also times, when we received a daily rinse enema for various different reasons. The first day was always a soapy followed by a rinse enema, then the second and following days, were only a rinse enema. In my personal opinion, more than one enema on a daily basis is unnecessary. With the exception of the first day, when two enemas are given to start the routine.
