Once my siblings and I were on our own, when it came to enemas, we missed someone giving us enemas. So, to satisfy that itch, we started swapping enemas with each other. Once our sister started having a period, she didn’t like douching on the toilet. She like douching standing in the shower. So, to that end, she taught me and my brother how to help accomplish that in the shower. We simply looked at it as helping our sister complete a task, nothing more!

I have had one lover who let me douche her. The first time I just s tood outside the bathtub holding the red open top Davol bag while she reclined in the tub and douched. I am unsure if many women find sexual pleasure in vaginal douching, but I sure find sexual pleasure in watching women douche, especially if the more vintage rubber equipment is used. My own sexual pleasure may relate more to my equipment fetish and being able to assist in the process. As ddell2 stated, if assisted by her S.O., she'd have to repeat after he dirtied her.

Back in the ‘80s douching was really popular and like many other women I jumped on the trend. Come to find out that it messes with the PH balance in the vagina. Today I just use plain old ivory soap and warm water to cleanse my lady parts

I think you may have something there. As a teenager, my younger sister liked to masturbate standing in the shower while she douched. To that end, she showed my brother and I what she liked, so we could help whenever asked. One afternoon, my girlfriend asked my sister, if she wouldn’t mind giving her a couple of enemas for period cramps. My sister agreed, and during the enemas the two girls talked. However, I have douched but not for any sexual reasons/ a preparation of sexual activity. After having surgery due to ovarian cancer I douched once a day for a week afterwards on advice from my medical care team.

As Rosario says, it has fallen out of use due to upsetting the vagina more than it benefits it. Same with washing under the foreskin with soap for men, it’s important to be hygienic, but not harsh to our precious bits.
