Why do adult diapers feel ticklish, when you wear them?

Lately I've been wondering about a question that I have had for quite some time, and I was wondering if anyone else feels the same way?

I was wondering does anyone else feel ticklish at first, when they put or or put into a diaper/nappy not that this is a subject that I have not covered already in the past,

It's just something that I have noticed since wearing them again from 2010~present day and also something that I did feel in my childhood years much earlier in the years from my birth inn1980 until I was 10 years of age in 1990.

You see I've always had sensitive skin and therefore as a child I had to wear disposable diapers because I was allergic to the fabric/towl based ones,

on did try the reusable type but that resulted in myself being rushed to hospital on more than one occasion due to a bad reaction to the fabric softener, however that's a subject for another day.

However I am no longer allergic to fabric, although I still prefer disposable diapers Vs re useable ones as they are more convenient however this is wholely my choice nowerdays.

Although this is just my thoughts on the matter/question, topic at hand.

I have never know adult diapers to feel tikilish, if they do its either because you have not done the tapes up properly, (tapes at the back when putting on, yes there are people who don't know that) the diaper should fit tight enough to fit two fingers undernieth the waist band in the front and back,no tighter, if you can fit more fingers than two you have the aist band to loose.

Another reason would be that your skin is sensitive to the new sensation of wearing a adult diaper.

I only wear cloth diapers and plastic pants. They never felt ticklish, any more than undies would.

The times when I was diapered with cloth diapers and plastic pants and I didn't feel like they were ticklish, just bulky and made me walk funny with a waddle. When my aunt, uncle and cousins came to visit us one weekend, after his sister was diapered for the evening, my cousin was about five and was surprised with diapers and plastic pants which my aunt put on him right there on the couch in the living room in front of everyone (except my sister). He was very embarrassed. When he went to bed, my bedroom was upstairs near his, and I snuck into his room to ask him how they felt. He said they felt "scratchy". I would have liked to worn diapers at the time and am not sure why, but when I asked my mom, she said "you don't wear diapers", to which I replied, "sometimes I do". I didn't wear a diaper but I did happen to wet my bed for the two nights they stayed with us. It was totally accidental and unusual. While I didn't share this with anyone, my cousin told me when I saw him in the morning that he had not wet his diapers. He seemed rather proud. He was diapered both nights they stayed with us.

I think I know what you're getting at, but maybe ticklish isn't the right word - at least for me.

I'm thinking of the difference in feel between underwear and a cloth diaper.

I remember the feeling of having a cloth diaper put on me, and like Cokid said about his cousin, when being diapered or changed in front of others, there was definitely embarrassment, and I think that added to the sensation. I've never thought about the feeling of underwear when I put them on. But compare that to the feeling of lifting up for a cloth diaper and having it pulled up between your legs and pinned on. At that age I was way more aware of the feeling, partly because someone else was diapering me, it felt way softer than underwear, and it made me feel like a toddler.

And after I was in a diaper, of course walking around or playing, I was really conscious of the bulk. I guess the plastic pants might have been a bit ticklish where the elastics are...
