Frequently over active bladder is “the wake up call” that gets you to the doctor to be evaluated,in many many cases it is vthe tip of the iceberg of urinary or bladder dysfunction that has been going on awhile .
People think of Incontinence as a disease ,its generally realy not ,its a symptom of another condition.somewhere in your body ,and chances are good unless its related to enlarged prostate or cancer of the prostate by the time you see a doctor about it ,your not going to fix it ,there's diapers, medication and cathters in your future (most of the medications are a bad idea ,most people don't even finish the first month before saying NO,medications are a hard fail in about 93% of patients ) as for cathters and diapers I have no problem using both of them for my myriad of incontinence issues and have for many years .my situation happens to require using both.
I am always leaking ,yet at same time my bladder never fully empties on its own ,so 5 X's a day I am cathed and have my diaper changed ,on a good day my bowel medication and bladder leaks cooperate and I can be changed less because I am wet and messy in just 4 diaper instead of like 8 or 9 .
I maybe biased due to needing diapers for so long ,however every adult should have the clarity of thought to know admit and apply diapers when and if they are required by physical or emotional need ( there's nothing wrong with wanting to wear ,however its a choice unlike a need).
It's the 21 st century people should not be afraid of some olde time stigma about diapers . They are just like eye glasses.hearing aides ,crutches, scooters ,casts, walkers, rollovers, wheelchairs etc etc… they exist to give you an adaption to help you live your best life ,you should not be afraid to use them as such.none of my friends or family think.less of me for needing diapers or are afraid to change me if needed in the infrequent occasion my aide is tied up providing for another need ( like preparing medication or taking orders from a doctor to give me another dose of medication to stop angina ,covulvisions etc…
When you normalize adult diaper use ,so will your friends and family.
The only difference between when I first needed them and today is back then premium medical and ABDL diapers didn't exist ,for truly a better experience I would start with no leaky lower performing diapers and head straight for higher performing more absorbent models .
If you think thinner is more discrete ,wet or soil yourself in a failing diaper in public once and you will understand a little puffiness can be hidden unlike a bowel or bladder blowout ,that you won't soon forget .
