Is it true that some toddlers like the feel of diapers? Why?

This is a question that I came across earlier this year and it made me think, this is my response.

I know it's quite hard to come up with a suitable awnser when speaking about our own experiencs when compared to other people wich happily is something that I have now done and it's based on my memory of being a child.

As I wasn't out of Diapers/Nappies, untill the age of 9 & half due to verious reasons.

However I do believe the sender is it's true babies/toddlers and children like wearing diapers/nappies as long as they can because of these reasons.

My awnsers to this question are as follows:

Reasons be for a like or love of diapers at an early age/childhood.

1. Being loved the feeling of being totally relaxed knowing that they don't have to worry about accidents at anytime of the day or night, see comment no:# 8 for more information.

Also the smell as baby diapers/nappies tend to be scented and that was a real turn on as a child for me because I enjoyed the feeling of not only wearing them but also smelling that famillar heavenly baby fresh fregrence.

2. Self Invincibility the feeling of security and protection and that famillar feeling about being cared about knowing they are loved this can be because of the fact when your in a diaper nothing feels like it can hurt you intact I almost felt like a turtle in its shell if something bad happened I had somewhere to retreat as I knew I could count on protection not just from the outside world.

3. Comfort that feeling some times you get is almost in discribable for instance even the soft cushioning padding between the legs when you sit down has its own rewarding feeling as no surface feels too hard or uncomfortable and the fact when you sit down or crawl it moves with you and trust me on this point well that's a feeling that I have never forgotten about as it's pure bliss or heaven at least psychologically speaking.

4. Vanaty: the look you can't say toddlers don't like the look of a bulky diaper/nappy between the legs, as specially if it has printed cartoon characters or other images on it however when I was a child any diaper printed or otherwise would do speaking of seeing images of one's self in diapers as specially in front of a mirror.

And then getting a instant gratification or happy experience out of it as know I did every time I caught my reflection in a mirror, although this is more a self vanity thing so maybe not in every child's case.

5. Scence of Normality it is not abnormal for wear them as other children they meet in nursery groups are also wearing them, so no shame or stigmas which trust me, is the best thing about being a child.

6. Sents some times the smell of a clean diaper/nappy has a appeal to a child as baby ones tend to be sented and this can make them want to wear them, again I know every time I smelled that familiar pampers scent or even baby powder and cream as it made me feel happy.

7. Being able to simply just relax and sleep easier was a plus side of wearing them as it meant that I could just curl up any-where and take a nap without virtually a care in the world and that I could get a chance.

8. Practicality the fact you have the freedom to go and use them anywhere and not have to worry about anything, this was and is still a great feeling even-though nowadays as a adult I am the one who changes his own diaper/nappy but still remembers how it felt all those years ago.

Yes. Security, not having to ever worry at all. Make pee pees, anytime, anywhere, and someone or, sometimes in many cases, someones eventually check, lay you down, changes that icky pee pees diaper, clean, and you are good to go. Slight baby powder sprinkle is a huge help too.

To add some of my own perspective. I knew I liked diapers, and especially plastic pants at a very early age. I know I enjoyed my own plastic panties, from about 2.5-3 years old. That’s about the time, they disappeared 🙁 From about that time, to age 6-7, I wet the bed. Not because I missed my diapers and plastic pants, just because I wet in my sleep, is all. My mom felt, if I had diapers to deal with the bedwetting, I’d never stop. She, didn’t like dealing with diapers anyway, that’s how come I was potty trained at 2.5, she willed me to be so, and it was good bye diapers! Back to my bedwetting, I still loved seeing diapers on other kids, and any chance I got, like at the stores, I checked out the diaper isles. But, I know I would have been very embarrassed, if I was forced to wear a diaper, for bedwetting. My plastic sheet was bad enough! No boy wanted to be associated with anything babyish! “You were a big boy, not a baby anymore”! However all that into account, I believe if I did have diapers to deal with my bedwetting, it would have been a much better situation for myself, my mom and dad. How nice it would have been to not worry, sleep right through the night, uninterrupted. No wet pj’s, underwear, sheets, blankets. No, waking up for anyone. Cause, I would have to go get my mom, to change everything, in the middle of the night, which also woke my dad up. So, I do believe little me, would have adjusted to the embarrassment, accepted diapers, probably quickly because I liked diapers, and enjoyed the feel of them.

I was forcibly potty trained when I was 2 years old. I never wanted to be out of diapers in the first place. I was an every night bed wetter till the age of 19. When I was 8 years old, I was finally put back into diapers and plastic pants every night. Looking back on it, I never should have been taken out of night diapers to begin with. As I have now worn night diapers for two thirds of my life, I cannot even imagine going to bed without being well diapered.

My mother tried to get me to stop wearing diapers and wetting my bed but I didn't want to because I liked her to diaper me, I liked the attention she gave me, and I loved how much fun my sister and I had once we were all diapered after dinner and got play around. We all wore thick cloth diapers and rubber pants and sometimes I wet a little before we were taken to bed. I liked how good my wet diapers felt and didn't want to not be able to wear diapers. Once puberty started I found another reason to wear diapers, so I could play with myself under them, get erections and cum in my diapers. My mom finally had enough and told me I really had to stop wearing diapers and wetting my bed before I left home for college. So very reluctantly and after stalling for about a year, I finally stopped. But mom knew how much I liked to be diapered, knew I became aroused when she diapered me and played with myself, so she let me wear diapers when I came home for holidays. So I did wear diapers again at night, mostly I had to diaper myself, but once in a while mom gave in and diapered me. Even my sister who had long ago stopped wetting her bed,sometimes at night during holidays, would stay up with me until late at night to talk about college, boys and stuff and ended up diapering me for bed.

My mom said I used to get erections often when she would diaper me. She later said that's probably one reason why I like to wear diapers, and I agree. I remember liking the feeling of wearing diapers and plastic panties for as long as I can remember too.
