Receiving amalgam fillings

As long as I can remember, I have had a dental fetish of getting amalgam fillings at the dentist. I couldn't agree more, although I don't have a single noticeable filling, only a small one as I haven't been to the dentist in over 3 years I suspect I may be in line for some new ones. But for me I rather look at what my dentist/nurse is wearing, for example, my dentist is male but wears a white work shirt and a tie along with his mask and gloves but the others in his practice all wear scrubs. So for me Im much more into scrubs than a simple shirt.

I come from a generation that suffered terrible from encounters from childrens dentists. Even the smallest peck och karies needed a lot of drilling (often no anesthesia) and a ton of amalgam. As the amalgam is leaking, then slowly implode and brings huge chunks of the tooth, we the 50’s generation has a complicated (traumatic) relation to dentists.

However, I have gotten a great dentist lately and my dental hygienist is fantastic and if they are young and good looking (🥰🥰🥰) I spend my time in the chair, eyes closed and waiting for the procedures to end.

However, another “setting” and being strapped to a similar chair could do fine, but no drills, amalgam an root canals.
