Enemas and deep anal play after hernia repair

Hey guys, apologies in advance if this isn't the right portion of the site to bring up this question - though this is where my search for hernia discussions brought me.

I'll be having an inguinal hernia repair done in a couple weeks and was wondering if any of you folks (some of whom work in the medical firld , iirc, and many of whom have many many years of experience beyond mine) know if something like deep anal play would now be of the table for me. The fact that there will be a metal mesh between my intestines and abdominal wall makes me wonder if it's too risky to go back to that after I've completed my recovery.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

My partner had this repair. His mesh is gortex not metal though. We have not had any trouble or restrictions on activity after the area healed up. Wishing you a successful surgery and quick recovery!
