Diapers, plain white or some of the new prints?

I have spent a lot of money buying all of the new diapers on the market. Do any of the printed diapers from the many diaper companies add to your diaper fun? I am a plain white fan but a lot of our group love the printed styles. Juvenile prints are fun, don't get me wrong but make my diapers white.

I agree with you, Brazil. I think prints are fun, but I really do like a white diaper. Most of what I have are cloth with prints, so I try to have plain white plastic diaper pants over them. When I used to wear disposables, they were always white.

What matters more to me is the texture of the plastic shell. I'd love a diaper which has the same texture as the Pampers did from the early 80's. Quite a lot have plastic that's a bit less smooth, sadly.

Yes, I 100% agree. White plastic backing is a must for me. You can throw cute nursery prints on anything and I will wear it and love it, but, on white diapers. The light baby blues and pinks are OK too, but, I do agree, the white, especially the plain white diapers, are very “me”, and it could just be that we tend to prefer what we know. What we remember roaming around in when we were younger.

I’m sure that has a lot to do with it.

Since I wear flannel cloth diapers, nearly all of mine are white--and I love white cloth diapers, especially after I've worn them overnight and upon taking them off, it's quite noticeable how "yellowed" with pee the front sides are vs. how white the back sides are. This is quite a turn-on, a "Look at how much you wet my diapers!" sort of thing (in fact, a time or two, my wife has actually said this).

That being said, I have a few flannel diapers with duckies printed on them across the top, also a few made with pink baby print flannel. I used to have one with a pattern of teddy bears / pacifiers / baby booties printed on the front (alas, I wore that one so often I wore it out and the manufacturer is no longer in business...oh well).

For me it’s quite the same, although I’d like to add that absorbency and thickness are also very important to me.

I'm incontinent, diapered 24/7, so for me the most important thing is fit and absorbency. I usually wear Rearz overnight cloth diapers, using Gerber prefold baby diapers as stuffers to add absorbency. Those diapers are all white (or a dingy yellow-grey after a few months) and I use both a pair of pins and 2 Snappis to hold them in place.

But for disposables I usually get ABUniverse Space or Little Pawz printed diapers. They simply work best for me, both fit and absorbency. I particularly like eliminating the aliens when I wet the Space diapers.

I prefere plain white plastic covered ones, however that being seid I will take anything as long as it's in my size is absorbant and comfortable.

Recently last June I tried ABU Simple Ultra, which is simillar to the old pampers I remember from my childhood/youth.

Colored or printed diapers doesn't do anything for me. Actually the only time they wasn't plain white was trying the Northshore supreme lites and the blue Megamax. The supreme lites where a solid color with white poke a dots. The Magamax where just solid blue. Buying colored or printed diapers would be a waste of money for myself. I'm very private and discreet about my diapers.

I like the printed ones, as they make me feel younger and more like a baby.

I wear terry nappies but I do like to cover them with nursery print baby pants or frilly ones for that extra sissy baby feel

I wear cloth prefolds, large diaper pins with ducky heads, and rubber pants. I have both white and patterned prefolds in different colors and matching ducky pins. I like to match my diapers with my rubber pants and have both plain white pants and pants in different colors and patterns. My girlfriend always selects which diapers and rubber to wear whenever we are together.

I prefer printed diapers. If I get caught in a diaper it's harder to explain it away as a medical necessity. Adds to the risk-factor for me.

On a personal note: I like plain white better than print because of the fact they remind me of my youth, what you have to remember or consider is that I was in diapers/nappies from my birth until the age of 9.

See my earlier replies for more information, And most where plain white and plastic backed I remember that I preferred the Huggies or Pampers babydry plus, ones because they were extra thick.

I also tend to prefer plain white because the print on the standard adult diapers sometimes marks my skin or clothing and this can be rather embarrassing to experience, so printed ones are great in one respect but not on the other.

I tend to go for absorbency, Comfort and fitting rater than fancy prints although I will take anything as long as it prevents me from having an embarrassing accident.

Lately I've been buying the Seni Super Plus fabric backed ones because they hold alot of liquids and are very comfortable to wear I get these either in L/XL, which I kind of like because of the extra padding or in the difference between the Normal large size when compared to the next size up as in XL, is only a couple of centimetres they are the same reasonably low price so it doesn't matter.

When I am not in diapers/Nappies I wear normal underwear and clothing however I tend to be more relaxed and happy in nappies, maybe this is something to do with my past as mentioned above although I don't think it matters because nappies/diapers are just another form of underwear only more convenient because of the fact you can change out of them as needed.

On the subject matter of do I find myself less or more of an adult for wearing them well sometimes it's a bit of both, however diapers make me feel psycollogically younger as I am in my 40's and not getting any younger, however that's another story for another day.
