Shy bladder.

I have a shy bladder which sometimes makes it difficult to urinate on demand if my bladder is not full. I am in pain management and must undergo a urine test every few months. I learned a trick from an x-ray technician which allowed me to urinate despite a less than full bladder or a shy bladder. You take your penis and use a lubricant even spit if nothing else is available, holding your penis firmly you push down on your meatus with a circular motion and after one or two tries you will begin to urinate. The feeling can be quite intense but it will allow you to either start complete urination or get enough residual urine to complete the test. Yesterday I went for my urodynamic testing and I needed to use this trick to pee in the special potty chair.

Not sure I understand how to do this - the pushing down on "meatus" part ? I've written about my shy bladder problems elsewhere and think there's already and open thread for this...
