New Mommy looking for advice

Hi all! I have taken on the mommy role in my relationship, we’ve been together for about 6 months now and a good 4 of those have been me starting to find my place as mommy. We definitely aren’t in abdl mode all the time, only certain occasions. Always in a diaper and onesie. I was wondering, what is some advice you’d give me for new mommy/little relationships? I know I’m struggling with being able to decide what he does in diapers, I feel like I don’t know enough activities to be able to make all these decisions during his diaper time. I know he wants me to surprise him with new activities and tell him what we’re doing, but I also rely on him to lead with what he wants. I don’t want him to be miserable, mostly because he struggles to get into his little space sometimes. It’s usually only for an hour or so max, the rest of the time we are just going through the motions of being baby.

So I suppose my question is, how can I be MORE mommy? What can I do to reinforce that I’m caring for him and he is little? I’d love to hear from more littles/mommies about your ideas and experiences!

We already color sometimes, and that is guaranteed to make him little. But he’ll do one picture and be done. And we’ll watch movies of course. If it were up to me I’d pick Mickey Mouse clubhouse or something newer that he hasn’t seen, but he prefers the things he watched in childhood.

I had some kinetic sand, and he loved playing with that, so I got him some play dough and tools for the next time we’re together.I have some books as well, but we’ve never used them.

The next thing we’re trying is to schedule some time where I’m going to be mommy and he can choose to be little or not, but we’ll do little activities. I’d love to try other ways to ease him into/keep him in little space.

Make a numbered list of all the things you and you little would like to do. Your little probably has tons of them. Good baby, bad baby (spankies) and things that make Mommy happy are great. Then take something like a ping pong ball or scrabble tile and put each number on a ball. Put them all in a container. Then when playtime comes along pull a ball or several and compare the number to your list. You'll have a spontaneous way of having fun...

I agree with a lot already said on here.

On nice days, pack his diaper bag with the things you will need. Diapers, baby powder, baby wipes, bottle, bib, etc.

Go to places he may like. Kiddie movie at the movies, sand castles at beach, feed duckies at park, playground, sandbox, zoo, aquarium, amusement park, Botanical gardens, field to play with a ball.

Or indoors sitting on floor playing blocks, crayons 🖍 coloring books, arts crafts, board games, things like that.

Spoon feed him, bottle feed, breast feed, give baths, occasional spanking, just spend quality time treating him as you would any child in his diapers.
