Who all on this page likes to have the blood pressure cuff pumped tightly when they have their blood pressure taken? I love it. I like the way it feels on my arm. My girlfriend usually goes to 260-290 before she lets it out. She loves the same also.

It depends on where my blood pressure is measured. On the arms I find high pressure to be painful. But it's on the legs. I don't mind if the pressure in the cuff is a little higher. Although I have to say that it can happen to me before; that you have to fully inflate the cuff (300 mmhg) because my values can go so high.

It is said to be particularly exciting for the male sex if one measures the blood pressure on the male penis. The higher the pressure and the faster you set the intervals between inflating and deflating, the greater the erection and pleasure. I don't know whether that may be true. Haven't tried it yet.

Yes, I have got it checked more than 1000 times in my 28 years life lol, I absolutely when they had to pump it to 250 as usually i am pretty excited ad my bp is never less than 150/100 at doctors office.

By default, I usually inflate the cuff to 200 mmHg. All of my patients have below 130 BP normally unless stimulated. So the little enhanced inflation goes with the medical process.

In very rare cases, I do push the inflation a little more, but only to make sure I get the patient's attention 🙂

Can one actually really measure the BP on the penis?! That sounds a bit obscure to me and I don't know, I think the pressure of the cuff could actually be painful. I'd not try it.

I know the practice of measuring blood pressure on the male penis from two bad and formative sessions I have been through. It is a practice known in the BDSM scene of white eroticism. Not every man can have it and even endure it, but if the practice is used well and correctly, it can certainly be arousing.

Unfortunately, this was not the case in my session. One tied the small cuff around it and immediately started with quite a high pressure. This was repeated again and again and the pressure was increased each time. In the end, it was really so painful. This was already somewhat formative, but the worst factor, were the treatments of the doctors, in both session.

In an automatic you could try to hold a start button, I found this option in manual for my AD. It was not obvious, i tried maybe 3-5 times to find exact moment it should be pressed. If i remember correctly it is somthing like: press one short time to turn on, then wait some time and then press+hold.

Cool! Thanks for the advice. Now I can inflate the cuff to 300 mm Hg by holding down the button. I love it when the cuff is very tight. Is there any way to make the automatic tonometer deflate the cuff more slowly?

Deflation rate is set mechanicly by small hole(permanently opened) in some tube inside the device. I dont know the exact construction, you could try to find it. But remember that significant change in deflation rate may cause a softwere fault, they are pretty smart nowdays. So any mechanical changes should be reversable.

Well, each person has their own discomfort threshold. I get a special thrill and a little excitement from pumping the cuff up to 300 mmHg. At the same time, I don’t feel any pain or discomfort.
