Urethral stretching learnings and experiences.

For years I have been unable to get past 7-8mm. (21 to 24 Fr) using my surgical grade sounds.

A month ago I was alone for a weekend and had a longer session and eventually got my tapered 6-10mm dilator all the way in ( a first) with plenty of lube and a bit of numbing gel.

I normal don’t have any bleeding but this time I did. It was like a minor nose bleed but I got it stopped completely within 5 minutes. I am pretty sure I created a slight tear (enlarging the pee hole slit) on the bottom of meatus. I applied and re-applied an antibiotic cream on it twice or more a day and so far all is ok and I don’t see any tear- just a slightly longer slit. Pee stream is normal except when just finishing up it initially sprayed but has since returned to normal.

After a few weeks of rest I have now been able to quickly “grow” into 28-32FR Using Pratt’s, Dittles, Guyon and Van Buren’s and have been sounding 2-3x/week. I was able to get a 34Fr Hegar inserted but with some difficulty and no bleeding.

I didn’t want to be aggressive with this new record size for me so I will stay at 30FR Or less for foreseeable future. There is something addicting about conquering size limits and growing sizes. Hard to describe this unique pleasure zone to a non-sounder who usually go into fetal positions when discussion inserting anything in to your urethra. The Guyon and Van Buren’s are amazing stimulators of the prostate and I hope to induce an orgasm someday via the sound.

I also received from Silicone Nozzles a 13” 9-13mm soft stretcher that have varying gauges. I can almost get the entire Max thickness all the way inserted and it has been so comfortable. I believe the material compresses when inserted but also creates a constant and gentle stretch. Highly recommend.

I agree with other users that one has to commit and push yourself to dilate. I always am super sterile (or as close as I can get) - boiling sounds, 91% alcohol, betadine and gloves. I have had one uti many years ago but have not had a recurrent in spite of a rise in my activity.

I also got back to Foley catheter use (non medical need). I inserted a 22Fr and wore it for +30hours. I had occasional cramping but I found massaging my bladder right above the Pubic bone seemed to have a great benefit.

I also noticed a pinkish tinge in the leg bag. Apparently a very small break in a capillary can tinge the Urine. (Never saw any clots or bright red blood as that would be a potentially serious issue). I have learned the catheter tip can irritate the delicate lining of the bladder especially when walking, sitting or standing up etc. I drank a lot of water and also flushed my bladder with 0.9% saline. (I boiled the water first).

I enjoyed the mostly pleasurable sensations of the catheter for those 30 hours and like the visual stimuli of seeing a large tube emerging from my cock and the steady urine drip. All in all I can see the “addiction” potential.

For those concerned about stinging pain I would comment that at least for me my urethra must have adapted to these foreign objects. I rarely have any stinging when I pee following a catheter or sounding session. I used to have the “pee sting” when I began but rarely lasted more than a day. Plenty of water, orange or cranberry juice seems to be a smart play following any play session.

My new goal is to find a way to bring my wife into the light with my sound and catheter fetish. She knows and accepts my love of wearing lace and panties but at same time she is extremely conservative sexually and I expect she would freak on seeing this more extreme form of sexual play.

How did other sounders and catheter for play folks inform your spouse or partner - (assuming they didn’t already know) What was the reaction? I am jealous of those couples who sound and cath play together.

Now I need to get a newer and bigger penis plugs as the old ones won’t stay in. Oh well.

Stretching the external urethra and the urethra are 2 construction sites.

The Meatus urethrae externus is best stretched with a penis plug with longitudinal bore. So that the plug can remain permanently inserted. Method. Cleanliness is absolutely important to avoid infections. Disinfect the dilator and a sterile lubricant is necessary. I use Xylocain Gel 2%. This is called then Sounden. After frequent use, the urethra will become accustomed to it and the initial impairments will no longer occur, so that the pleasant feelings will prevail. After some time you can use the next 0.5mm Thicker Dilator to stretch the urethra. How fast you can use the next size depends on the frequency of use and on the duration of stretching (1-2 hours), but it is still very tedious. It is relatively safe as long as you do not penetrate into the bladder. Because you can easily damage the bladder sphincter and thus trigger incontinence. In addition, you have no germ-free urine for rinsing the urethra more. That's why I usually only sound through the prostate and do not invade the bladder. I bet you have to sit down to urinate because you no longer have a urine stream, rather you spray or dribble.

You CANNOT have a stream because 18 mm is the inner diameter of a large garden hose and the human bladder does not have enough volume or pressure to make a stream through a lumen that large.

This is not a good idea.

Using an anesthetic when stretching the urethra is a TERRIBLE IDEA.

You could be doing severe damage and injury and not know it until you removed the sound and saw the blood pouring out due to an abrasion or puncture injury.

Use extreme caution inserting anything into the urethra that does not go in easily and without force

I started sounding several years ago with the smallest one 5-7 mm - 15 Fr. I learned the importance of cleanliness. Bladder infection if it isn't clean. I wash my hands and the sound twice with hot water and antibacterial soap. Then wash hands and sound with isopropyl alcohol and let it air dry completely. I squirt just a little sterile Surgilube into my urethra and coat the sound with it. I have no incontinence problem. I can hold and go at any time. At 70, though flow was getting diminished.Then I bought gradually bigger ones. My current fave is 15 mm - 45Fr. but it's only 12". The other ones are 15" or 18" I love to feel it push though my prostate and then through my bladder sphincter. Stretching takes some getting used to. At first there was bleeding, but now I do it every three - five days and now it doesn't do it any more. I can leave it in for an hour or two. At first, after about one hour, I had this excruciating pain/pleasure sensation happening. It drove me mad, but at the same time I loved it. left it in and the feeling subsided. There is very little soreness now afterward, even using the 45Fr. I've been asking the supplier to make 18" ones. It has really increased my urine flow. All the ones I have bought are from siliconenozzles and they are all very soft and made of translucent silicone.

Has anyone ever tried on of these as a Foley …I am only at a 20-22 FR got a ways to go before I would even try this..Let me know if you have

I would be concerned about getting the thing sterile enough to not cause an issue with UTIs. Besides stretching your urethra enough to get it in.
