Do you mean to say that you only wait until the next day to wash your hands and clean your nails after anally fingering yourself the day before?

No , I do it at night and wash ASAP after.

Another reply to this thread,the smell or odor of the enema tube would be different from time to time,maybe it was related to what you had to eat !
