Was a hand placed on your bare bottom during RT?

Yes it was usually done that way. Hand over butt. But I had 3experiences in teens and 20;s where hand was cupped over my cheeks. Once by a female nurse and twice by two different male nurses. When you're a kid its one thing but as a teen it felt like them copping a feel.

If I was on my belly, no. If I was over her lap, yes. Those were the only two positions a got RT.

Everything depended on the nurse you had that day. Some would hold the thermometer at the tip, others would hold it between two fingers and rest their hand on your backside. Some would not hold it in at all, unless it was starting to slip out, then they would adjust it. My parents usually rested their hand on my bottom.

Look at the pics I posted a few weeks ago. One of her hands was on my butt the whole time.

I'm pretty sure my mother held the thermometer in place when she took my temperature rectally as I lay across her lap. While I can't recall for sure if the nurse held it in place during my last rectal remp at the doctor's, it's quite possible she did. I do remember how good it felt, though.

Sometimes during registering time of the thermometer my mom or my dad or the nurse at the pediatrician or the doc itself let one hand lying on one bottom cheek , sometimes I was patted or fondled but never spanked, because I was compliant. In hospital I only got the thermometer up my bum and left alone

The one time I remember my mom taking my rectal temp her hand was on my bottom at first but then for some reason I pulled it out and she saw me and she gently scolded me and put the thermometer back in then kept her hand firmly on my rear until the time was up.

Yes, I always had the doctor or nurse place a hand on my bottom when I had my temp taken as a kid.

Yes, often a hand was kept on my bottom during the temperature to keep me relaxed and calm. This was both by my mother and often by my pediatric nurse as well.

My had is always place on the homeless female bottom during a rectal temperature by keeping the butt cheeks close while the rectal thermometer is getting taken with the rectal probe thermometer

I always hold the thermometer in place when temperature taking… even rubbing the small of the back and bottom checks of the female I’m RTing

Yes

Usually always had a hand placed on my butt cheek

Sometimes a hand was placed on my bottom, but many times the thermometer was just left sticking out. This happened both at home and at the doctor's office.

Yes a hand was always on my bum when my temperature was being taken! when I was at the doc office the nurse or doctor would hold the thermometer in between their finger while resting their hand on my bum. at home mom use to insert the thermometer and then she would just put her hand on my bum for the hole five minutes

Placing a comforting hand on the patient's behind always makes for a more sensual experience, especially if that hand wanders a bit causing the patient to anticipate where it is going.

I do sometimes keep my hand on my play partner's butt when taking his rectal temp. He does it to me too. We'll see what happens next time we play 🍑🌡😈

The most special and exciting part of the whole process happens when someone else takes my temperature, especially when the hands measuring or touching are cold. That cold touch, whether completely static or gently caressing, is simply amazing.

The cold touch on warm skin creates an immediate and sharp thermal contrast. This collision of temperatures, between the high fever of the body and the cold hands measuring, instantly floods me with a slight shiver and an exceptionally pleasant chill. It is a very unique goosebump feeling that simply cannot be replaced by any other kind of touch or sensation.

This thermal combination and touch, mixing the thermometer with cold hands and precise physical contact, is a phenomenal combination for me. It creates a powerful, unforgettable feeling that connects the internal heat with the body's physical response in the strongest way possible. It is hard to explain to anyone who has not experienced it, but that shiver and numbness are exactly what makes all the difference.

Decades ago, Dr Spock's handbook was the Bible on how to raise and care for your children. I know my mother had her copy securely stacked in our little bookcase. And shortly after I discovered my interests in all things pertaining to bottoms, sometime around the age of 5-7, I found that book. There was a section on how to take the rectal temperature on your children, complete with a reasonably accurate sketch of a child, pants down over Mom's lap and with her hand laying across the (my) bottom cheeks to hold in the thermometer. I believe instructions were to allow the thermometer to rest between two fingers like you might a cigarette. It was the 50s after all. And that's exactly how Mom's did it!

When the doctor takes my temperature he usually holds his hand on my lower back for a while.

My mom always held the thermometer between two fingers with her hand on my bottom.
