Any heartwarming stories of parents/friends accepting your fetish?

The closest I've been to that situation is a step-nephew (50 years old) who came out to me. He was scared to death our friendship would end when he told me. I had no issue with it. I did, however, tell him if he had murdered someone I would have a major problem with that. He has gone from being scared to tell me he is bi to telling me he'd like to have sex with me. I have politely refused telling him simply the male body doesn't do a thing for me. A transsexual, given the right circumstances, is a completely different deal. He and I communicate via email a lot.
