Hey everyone,
I have been reading about suppositories, and I think I've landed on trying to make my own instead of buying ones from the store. From what I've read, the store bought ones just make you have a strong urge to go and cramps; that's what ducolax and glycerine ones do, right?
I'm looking more for 1) irritation and/or 2) burning. So, I've been thinking about one option, which is melting coconut oil, combining it with ginger powder, and then popping it into a small ice cube mold in the freezer.
Questions:
• What would be a good ratio between coconut oil and ginger powder to make a medium hot suppository? I don't want to die, lol.
• How long in the microwave to melt coconut oil?
• How long would it take to set in the freezer?
I also have discovered that I like the feel of soap sticks, because they irritate and sort of burn and itch. Can ivory be used as a base to mix in ginger powder? Maybe make a bunch of shaving, sprinkle powder and then mush them all together in the right shape, then freeze?
Aaah, my mind is racing! Help me out everyone! ?
