So I've always followed health professionals advice about not getting any object or body part that has been used anally into mouths or vaginas until its been throughly washed. But you see so many people practicing ass to mouth or vagina play, that I'm wondering how risky it really is, surely if they were getting sick or infections from it, you wouldn't see the type of play so much.

Has any member here that does ass to mouth or ass to vagina ever had any negative effects from doing it, or heard of any?

I do not want my GF getting a UTI and it could be so easy. I always wash between going from ass to pussy but not worried about the opposite. Otherwise I wear a condom and can just pull it off before vaginal sex though I prefer feeling every inch of her anally. She loves it!

Where do you see them? Remember that porn is unrealistic and pushes the extreme, so don't base your sex decisions on what you see there.

Of the two I have to say that if cleaned out ass-to-mouth is probably less risky than ass-to-vagina because the "oral route" has more defenses in place than the vagina/vulva/urethra. Not eager to try either right now though (or suggest that my wife try it).

When I do my ass play sessions, I try not to get stuff to enter my vulva, however sometimes the lube gets everywhere. I have had a few UTI's that I think happened from just the lubrication coming out of my ass leaking onto me. I did have unprotected anal intercourse on two occasions. I knew I could get a UTI, but went ahead anyway without a condom so as not to spoil the mood. I was lucky both times and nothing happened. But I never did it again. UTI's can be nasty.

My husband drinks a large glass of water before we have anal sex. We never use condoms. After sex he pee's and he has never had a problem.

As far as ass to mouth, you hear of a tiny amount of fecal matter in food service making people deathly ill. Why would you risk health risks like that?

Yes, one does see it in amateur porn, often enough in live amateur webcam shows ... so, in those instances I suppose it is not faked. Seeing this live does make me grimace though, wondering if the performers really know what they are doing, like licking or sucking on a just retracted anal plug ...

That means you had a nasty vaginal yeast infection when you did it whether or not you knew that.

YES. Not always, but it is certainly possible.

Oral candida is a possibility and leaves the mouth feeling very sore, has a bad taste, .will have a bleeding surface if the candida patches are scraped or rubbed.

Yeast is always in the vagina but it is kept under control by the lactobacillus which keeps the vagina acidic. Apparently the spermicide on the condom irritated my anal area and along with micro abrasions that all yeast to infect my anal area.

I have had anal sex on a number of occasions as the penetrator. I did not wear a condom on any of those occasions mainly because I knew the STD status of my partners. But that still leaves the possibility of me getting a UTI. So far I have been lucky not to have any problems.

As Susie said, if you do it often enough you will eventually get bitten by a UTI. As far as going from ass to mouth, that poses risks too but probably not as much as going from ass to vagina, which I would never do. And you do have to be careful once you cum in a woman's ass that you don't let what comes out dribble into her vagina.

I do believe that if the person being anally penetrated has done a thorough flushing of the rectum with enemas and a shower shot, they will likely reduce the microbes in their rectum for a short while. BUT you are not sterilizing your rectum even with a good flushing out.

While I believe the risk of UTI is too high going from ass to vagina, I have gone from my own ass to my own mouth many times without issue. It would be irresponsible to suggest it, however, being risk aware, ATM is an acceptable risk to me. Unlike ATV, which has little capacity to defend against infection, the oral route has much stronger defences against bacteria.

I consider the risk of an E-coli infection in a healthy individual (me), which typically is a day of vomiting and diarrhea, vs the reward (humiliation kink) and on days that I can accept the risk (begining of a weekend) I do. I also avoid such activities if I am immunocompromised, esp if I am already fighting a GI infection as a result of food poisoning, but even if I have a small cold, I do not accept the risk. I will say that over the last couple years I have gotten food poisoning several times after eating at mexican restaurants, however, I have ATM more often, and to my knowlege have yet to have an issue.

Once again, I can not advise others do it, however, for me, I have not had a problem. Just understand the risk, and avoid the activity if the risk is too high to accept.

But in reality there is a significant risk to causing a UTI and urospesis and renal ( kidney) failure no matter how clean the rectum is. E-coli is only one of several bugs that can really cause you to become septic and this applies to both males and females, Just remember that UTI's in males is much more difficult to treat and you are more likely to end up in hospital .

So condoms are a must and always remove and use a new before switching. Also it would be advisable to have an enema before engaging in anal sex as this prevents faecal contamination .

As other have said its not something you would want to do especially with someone you care about.
