Caz , absolutely , I 100% believe so …. … 55 years old and I can still remember quite a lot of the detail that developed over the years into a medical fetish. My earlier posts detail my childhood experience that started it all .

I agree that early medical experiences can be the catalyst for medical fetish. In my case I can recall an examination of my penis by a male doctor when I was maybe as young as three or four years old.

Caz suggested that I may have associated a feeling of pleasure linked with embarrassment during this examination. I think she is spot on with her theory here.

I also had to undergo mandatory medicals at school which though embarrassing at the time were fantasies for masturbation when I had returned home.

I think if people take the time and sit down and think it through that they can see the links back to childhood. I know I can trace mine back to my single digits for the kinks and also my dominant personality. Personally I think it is useful in understanding who we are by reflecting back, seeing what shaped us. Interesting to ask ourselves is it nature or nurture, or a combination of both.

For me it was definitely having a full medical at school when i was 7 years old.

I have two main fetishes. In the medfet umbrella, I like girls in masks. This started as a fetish for girls in anesthesia masks, probably around age 8. I can relate this fetish to the many inpatient stays I've had for surgery (spina bifida). My school medicals have certainly contributed to my adult kink. When I was younger I absolutely dreaded them, but from puberty onwards I found that I came to enjoy them and looked forward to them every year. I also got examined in the summer holidays as I went away to boarding school outside the area. I found having to undress for someone and being examined in intimate areas and inspected such a turn on.
