Diapers in hotel

Hey, I have a question. How do you do if you are staying in a hotell over night and you have a diaper on that you mess in, do you throw that in the bin or take it out by your self?

I will be staying many nights in hotell at work and I was thinking to cuddle up with a diaper but I'm a lite afraid to get known about what im doing.

The proper thing to do is to take it with you and dispose of it yourself

At worst you should always have a supply of grocery store bags in pocket ,you can carry 100 of them in less space than a t shirt.double bag it and take to external garbage ,any hotel I have stayed out more than once knows I am IC and will usually provide a larger closed lid garbage for my use and housekeeping will come in everyday to empty it ,i still double bag .

I just don't feel right exposing anyone to my waste unneccsarily( I have no infectious or sexually transmitted disease ,however do they know that ,or have any reason to have confidence ìn assuming that ?)

,basic unwritten rule of respect and kindness ,goes a long way .remember video tapes "be kind rewind",same thing for diapers when in doubt double bag it and throw it out

I'm always a bit nervous about it as it's pretty obvious if you leave them in the room... I tend to bag them up and put them in a public bin in the lobby/toilets etc. There's probably no real harm in leaving them for the cleaners though, as long as discreetly bagged!

Edit: I only wet though, so perhaps a bit different if you mess in them.

I recently went to israel and used mostly wellness superio the whole time. The hotel was very hostile about bowel and urinary voiding. I also found the hotel dirty and smelly. Nobody ever cleaned my room while I was there for 4 days and all the used briefs were left in a sealed bag.

Wellness Superio really are the very very most comfortable and secure!!!! And they don't require barrier creams which often make me uncomfortable.

I combined the soiled briefs with the wet ones sealing them tightly with all wipes, gloves and paper towels. I change bowel accidents on an underpad and then wrap the whole thing up. I know that the green packets are the dirty ones.

Always bag in 3 big nappy sacs and take to bin outside

Even if there is disabled changing room think it's only fair to do this

I stayed in a lot of hotels over the years for work. I am a bed wetter and wear disposable diapers while traveling. I have no issue leaving a wet diaper rolled and taped up in the rooms trash can. The housekeeping staff will empty the trash as part of their job and they have seen everything. I would generally leave them a nice tip. I don't poo my diaper while traveling and if I did. Then I would take the poopy diaper with me when leaving the room and dispose of it in an outside waste bin somewhere. I don't want to stink up my room with a smelly diaper before housekeeping go there.

Also a poohed abdl nappy is bigger and smellier than a toddler and we always took our kids nappies to outside bins to save room service having the job

Before Covid, my wife and I loved to travel. I wear cloth diapers and rubber pants so if we were going to stay more than a night in a hotel, we made arrangements before hand for my diapers to be laundered, especially if we were staying for several days. I only wet my diapers, since my wife doesn't like me to mess, especially away from home. I would just leave my wet diapers along with other clothes in the room for laundry to pick up and return that evening. I've rarely had any problems doing this. We'd usually bring half a dozen diapers and three pairs of rubber pants, along with extra diaper pins, baby powder and wipes.

I use to travel alot for business. I wear cloth diapers and plastic pants. Most of the time the hotels have a guest laundry and I just wash my own diapers. I leave everything out in the open in my room. I rinse out my plastic pants in the shower and hang them over the curtain rod. Many times when I come back to room the maid will have takem them of the rod and folded them neatly and set them on the dresser. When I get into bed I noticed that she added a plastic mattress cover to my bed. I always leave her a good tip.

I have traveled many times, always diapered. I have requested a mattress cover, with no negative feedback. There is one place I am asked when making the reservation if the mattress cover is needed. I always use cloth diapers and plastic panties. In the morning I rinse the diaper and hang it on the shower rod, with the plastic pantie placed on the showerhead. I leave a stack of diapers on the nightstand along with plastic pants. Powder and extra pins are on the counter next to the sink. Quite often I would return to the room at noon for a change. Several times I have had to ask the room service person to leave the room so I could change my wet diaper.

Two years ago maybe three by now, as of 2022 I visited Hong Kong in January of 2019/2020, In was staying at the Prudential hotel on Nathan Road and while staying there I obviously did choose to wear diapers/nappies as I am a bed wetter and I didn't want to ruin the sheets or my pajamas.

In Hong Kong it's very easy to get Access to adult diapers as they are available in most high street shops or dispensaries as they are at a reasonable cost in terms of price and usually are good quality, although obviously the cheeper ones aren't worth it as they have a tendency to leak or rip open which is annoying and potentially embarrassing to say at the least.

Anyway I was staying in Hong Kong for over a week so I got to do some traveling and shopping done at the same time.

Wearing diapers in public can be a little bit daunting at first However I needn't have worried about it as nobody bat an eye lid apnd on the occasion someone asked why I was ediapers I simply replied that I am disabled and that usually did the trick of deflecting people's unwanted attention away from me.

Not that people in hong kong are nasty as most are great and even helpful and supportive however there are a few that are the opsit although they are thankfully in the minority.

Since then every-time I am around I wear diapers as they provide me with comfort and ease of mind knowing if I have an accident in public it wont be too embarrassing to clean up

My advice if your un-sure if you will be spotted by someone else is just be your normal self and ignore the nagging feeling someone is watching you because its better not to get so paranoid as most people don't even care what type of underwear you wear even if it makes you look like an over-grown toddler or something similar.

And in the privacy of your own hotel room whos going to realistically bother you, as long as your comfortable with wearing diapers than why the hell should you be ashamed to do so?

Update if I am traveling on my own abroad, then I usually will buy adult disposable diapers/nappies as it's more practical and convenient for myself to wear them and they give me peace of mind as, it's better than wetting the bed or floor if I miss the urge to get to the toilet on time as I am a heavy sleeper as I mentioned before, last time was last November in 2022 when I had a whole week in Hong Kong due to a social meeting that never happened.

@Chinababy888 It sounds like you have a good strategy for keeping yourself dry and comfortable when traveling. The stress and excitement of traveling can make accidents more likely.

If someone was concerned about an accident in public, I would have them wear a diaper and tell them to do the best they can with making it to the bathroom.

If someone has nighttime accidents I would have them wear a diaper to bed because a hotel is not a good place to have an accident.

I have but also bring extra bags and a back pack and then find a garbage to dispose of my diapers I don’t want housekeeper dealing with that.
