Thermalaid

We bought this thing at an estate sale for a buck. It is "Thermalaid" made by the Electro Thermal Company in Ohio. It has a patent date of 1918.

For all the world it looks like a big 5" bumpy enema nozzle in black bakelite. It plugs into a wall socket - although I would not trust the old cloth covered wires - and you insert it 'you-know-where!' It heated up at the tip and warmed the prostate. It even had an adapter so you could screw it into a light socket since there were few electric outlets in homes of the times.

It was supposed to cure prostate problems and restore you to youth and vitality as well as fixing your love life. A hot time in the old town tonight!

The Thermalaid is not a E-Stim device. It's an electric prostate warmer.

They actually came in at least two versions- line operated and battery.

The battery ones are quite safe, but the line operated are potentially very risky.

If you are know about electricity, the line operated one can be made pretty safe with a medical grade isolation transformer.

Otherwise best leave it alone.

As to effect, the device feels warm and comfy. It's a good idea to have pooped recently before insertion.
