Moliere, I would like to chime back in to your reply. You sound as if you know something and you don't so I will expand on it. It isn't like my wife had a c section on my request. Although she herself did want one because in her family everyone has a history of very difficult births. My son was delivered via an EMERGENCY c section and is lucky to even be alive because they refused to listen to her.

I'm not really sure why the knee jerk honestly. I read it as rude or insulting. I guess it is just a bit of a touchy subject for me because it was such an emotionally charged and scary experience and it did seem judgemental because my wife did seek a Dr who would do it way before it was absolutely necessary.
