It's in French, though. Back in those times, suppositories were the rule for both kids and adults when people had a cold. So was the rectal thermometer.
To sum it up, the main character is an elementary school teacher who has to face at some point a hectic situation: his colleagues are striking and the headmaster has a flu, which means he has to look after all the kids. In order to solve this situation, he wants the headmaster to be back on his feet as soon as possible, so he decides to take care of him:
it's at: 1:12:58: the headmaster is sick, he decides to rest on his bed. The teacher comes by to check if he's ok and at some point he opens up a box of suppositories, unwraps one and holds it to the headmaster saying "Tiens, mettez-vous ça", meaning something like "here we go, use it now" and the headmaster looks at it rather perplexed, grabs it and says - while he's inserting it under the bed sheet - "vous me rappelez ma pauvre femme", meaning "you remind me of my beloved wife", which implies he's a widower and his wife used to give him suppositories when he was sick. Right after, the teacher takes a thermometer that lies on the bedside table and asks "Did you take your temperature?", and the headmaster replies "I can't do everything at the same time!" (="je peux pas tout faire en même temps!), since he's still struggling to make the suppository enter his buttocks.
and afterward at: 1:16:49: the sick headmaster is looking at the thermometer. He's dazed to note he runs a 39,5°C fever, so the teacher takes the thermometer, shakes it down swiftly and asks him in a bossy way to insert it again "Recommencez....allez!". The headmaster can't believe he's asked to insert it a second time, so he just takes the thermometer and complies, doing what he's asked to do.
