Fascination with the hairbrush.

As with any impact toy it depends on material and shape.

Mother usually made me fetch the wooden spoon and bring it to her before i was stripped and put over her knee for my spankings. If i was told to get the hairbrush i knew i was really in for it. You're right, a hairbrush is an ordinary item, as is a trouser belt. Only the child who gets spanked knows what it means. In my country, hairbrush was not associated with spanking. I remember with amazement reading a book by a French author who advised children to use a hairbrush as a punishment tool.

I think part of the reason why is that I see a hairbrush as a more feminine punishment tool wielded primarily by strict no-nonsense women.
