Cloth diapers / nappies in Europe

So, I'm in the EU and looking to buy for the first time some cloth diapers...

I'm new to them as an adult, although I wore them as a child. I see that there are lots of different types.

I'm a DL and I don't have much free diaper time and was looking at all in ones. I also love the plastic backing. I have shopped at ABDL Factory before and was very happy with their service.

I see that there are PUL backed all in ones as well as PVC backed all in ones.

Can anyone suggest something that would be fun to wear and a supplier?

I’m in the US, so I’m not sure who I would recommend for you. But, I did want to share some thought, for your final choice. All in one diapers, can be convenient, but they have their problems. The pvc outer cover, will always fail long before the inner diaper. It will crack, or tear, and then you don’t have an all in one anymore. All in ones, are more expensive then normal cloth diapers to start off too. And, when it comes time to launder all in ones, they take longer to wash clean, and longer to dry. You also can’t use any heat to dry them, like in a hot air dryer. You did mention PUL for an all in one diaper. PUL is better when it comes to washing, and it can be a bit cooler for wearing it, it’s a bit stronger than plastic and resist tears better. But, it still will run into some of the same problems caring for them. PUL, can leak easier then plastic too.

So on the surface, all in ones sound good, but they will not last as long as separate diapers and covers. If you are just looking to wear them on occasion, and for fun, then investing in 1, or 2 wouldn’t be bad. Just remember, they still will take longer in the laundry. Sometimes this is a concern for DL’s, who can’t have their diapers hanging around, out in the open.

I have bought my cloth diapers in the US, despite I'm also living in Europe. It is a bit expensive considering customs and shipping, but it is well worth it.

I have both contour cloth diapers, ordinary prefolds and pull up style diapers. If you buy them in bulk it makes it slightly cheaper in shipping, though customs increase. But in all honesty, you get the best cloth diapers from US / canadian stores.

Funny european resellers haven't realized this potential yet.....

Thanks for the replies. Very useful.

I have gone ahead and ordered a pvc backed all in one and a thick washable velcro diaper without waterproofing. I will see how things go. I don't aim to get a huge stash and boy, is it expensive. I used ABDLFactory.
