Klystra JBL Sit-On bag

I am very attracted to the JBL Sit-On bag I saw on the Klystra site. Has anyone tried it? What do you think? Which would you choose from these Headpieces A: 2 1/4 "long x 3/4" wide, Headpiece B: 2 1/4 "long x 1/2" wide, Headpiece C: 2 1/4 "long x 3/4" wide?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to buy one from Klystra since they are out of business. The first one I bought had the small bulb shaped nozzle with no shut off. The second one I got had the shut off; and I also bought the short one with lots of small holes in the sides with shut off.

The JBL came with a cap that would screw on instead of the nozzle so you could use it as a regular Enema bag. I took the cap to the hardware store and got a coupler and short length of threaded pipe so that I could use other nozzles or a short colon tube with it for a deeper filling.

Each nozzle has its own sensation, so get a selection and enjoy each of them.

@ilffer I suspected that was the case, but good to see this confirmed. Do you know if there are still hose attachments that would screw into the fill hole? Mine is the later version that came without the hook. Hanging the full bag with the fill hole at the bottom sounds like an interesting challenge to work out.

@ilffer It sounds like you were able to find a ready made coupler and threaded pipe. Any tips on make and model for these? A particular hardware store that is most likely to have them, or is such a coupler and threaded pipe common enough to be found in any of the major chains?

@selfmadetoy By the time I got mine, head piece c was the only option. If I would have had a choice, I would've liked to try the piece with the holes along the sides, which I seem to recall was piece b.

Is it actually made of rubber ? Would someone be willing to let me purchase one off of them ? I'd love to get my hands on one and 3D scan in so I can make CAD files etc. And eventually a reproducible mold for this

@DaddyBrad The tricky bit is duplicating the valve and nozzle. Modern reproductions (non Tyrell) did not have the valve, which was probably based on a ball-valve design. Best of luck.

But eventually I'm sure I will and once I do I already know exactly how I'm going to do the reproduction down to the most inane parts and components, but thanks for the support.

I'd love to feel a JBL, let alone find one.

I have a JBL but it does have a minor problem if anyone decides to make them. The threaded outlet in the middle of the bag is NOT fastened by a large enough area and mine has become detatched. A much larger adhesive area would fix that problem. Exhilerating sitting on the JBL and feeling ones weight delivering the water where it is intended to go. regards, irrigator333

You can find the patents relating to Tyrell’s original design online if you look.

Wow I honestly wasn't sure whether they had ever filed those Patents or even that the Patents were made available online

Especially since there's very little official record available online about the company itself etc.

I'll definitely have to check and see if I can find the patent info thank you for the heads up
