Would you wear an ABDL print diaper to the Doctor's?

What I am asking, would you wear in abdl print disposable diaper to the doctor or maybe wear a nursery print pair of diaper covers to the doctor's office? Since I deal with a neurogenic bladder diaper wearing to the doctor's office sometimes isn't an option. If I'm careful about what I drink and how much I drink I am usually okay during the day. But my urologists is on me about keeping hydrated. Also I do have a thing for Coca-Cola and I do drink water but with the neurogenic bladder and not always being able to tell how full I am without literally feeling the pressure which a lot of times I don't. The reason I ask this question is compared to the Attends BR40 XL yellow diapers supply to me by the insurance the abdl diapers are much more absorbent and look much better than these ugly yellow diapers I wear. I do have some abdl diapers the black tykables brand the PLeather but all I have is one package and they are a bit on the expensive side but they are so much more comfortable then what I use in particular they don't bunch in the crotch as bad.

MWS, I think the question here is, are you comfortable wearing a print type, or AB/DL diaper to the doctor?

If you can't get hold of good plain white diapers before your visit, you think the Attends are not good enough, and you feel okay wearing the ab diapers, then do so. You are what matters here, what is best for you, and your comfort. I'm sure if anyone sees the diapers in office, they might think "hmm?" to themselves. But in all, chances they aren't going to say anything. Not anything negative anyway. It would be unprofessional, for them to say something bad, or negative to you.

And if you have the black, well that is just an opposite reflection of a white diaper. I don't think the black diaper, is so much an AB type.

I would suggest for the future, if this is something that bothers you, that you get a package of good plain diapers. Keep this package set aside, for visits to the doctor only.

I would not wear a diaper with a babyish printed cover to the doctor. In fact, the diapers that I wear anywhere are all plain white with plastic covers. You say that ab/dl diapers have a higher capacity than plain diapers. That is not entirely true. BetterDry and ConfiDry 24/7 diapers have very high capacities that match or exceed the capacities of ab/dl diapers.

Actually all I have is a couple of packages of higher quality diapers besides the ones the insurance covers. I also only have one package of the PLeather abdl'ish diapers since a motorcycle accident money is quite tight. I have one package of Tranquility, one package of Abena, and 1/2 package of Wellness brand original diapers. Usually during a doctor visit I wear a Wellness brand diaper or a Tranquility brand diaper. The wellness brand is the same color as the original depends diapers. That is what I recently wore during a shoulder surgery and a colonoscopy. I would like to try other diapers I just don't have the funds so the attends have to do. I don't know if I could wear in abdl print adult diaper but next time I do buy some I just might. One last thing about abdl print diapers we really never had them back when I first developed the neurogenic bladder it's kind of nice to have an option not that have to have these plain medical diapers slapped on your butt. I do sometimes miss the original depends diapers with the medical green color I did like the waistband on them. The elastic on those were very thick.

I have worn ABDL Diapers to my doctors office and my doctors and nurse have no problems with them. In fact my nurse often comments how cute they are and fun. Even my doctor's have commented how ABDL diapers are better than hospital diapers.

Oh I wish I could say yes but, truthfully, the answer is no.

My question is; why would you rub your doctors face in your fetish like that?

If you do have bladder issues, wear a diaper to your doctor. Not becouse it is exiting, but to keep your clothes dry. If you wear a baby-print kind of diaper there is a good chance your docter wil doubt your physical problems and start asking questions. This is not why you are there at his/her office ... so I would say no in this matter.

Generally I would say HECK NO! There's always the "but" though. There are many ABDL's that wear diapers for a psychological need. Diapers for them is like the people that have companion pets for emotional needs. For these people, diapers give them a means of feeling safe and out of danger. The medical profession is slowly becoming attuned to fact that emotional issues do matter in an individuals overall health. For those folks I think the doctors and other medical professionals need to leave their personal judgements checked at the door. That doesn't mean diaper up and head for the doctors office to get your thrills. As with most things, there isn't a simple answer here.

Wearing a plain disposable to the doctors is embarrassing enough without anything on it !

And would not wear a baby print at any time.

I have to the Physical therapist because I miscalculated my needs for the day and all I had was an abu. Luckily my PT is awesome because I was there for pelvic floor rehab. There was no way she wouldn't see it. she was talking when she noticed it and abruptly stopped (thank fully my back was turned and she couldn't see the horror on my face. After about two minutes, She simply giggled a bit and said, "those are new! Very cute...up on the table..." and then back to business.

I think I would. My doctor has been very cool and understanding about my diapers. First I explained to him my bedwetting history as a kid and that I've noticed it coming back, and he wasn't concerned at all. He said his daughter just stopped wetting the bed recently as a 15 year old. He told me diapers were fine to manage it.

Then later I told him I was having accidents during the day and after a urologist visit, he concluded that I have mild OAB. He is perfectly fine with me wearing diapers on occasion to avoid the risk of accidents. I would just explain to him that I wanted some variety and thought those printed diapers were fun. I would be fine with it. I'm incontinent, so my doctor knows about my diapers already, and knows that they are required for me. An ABDL print, if he were to say anything about it, I would explain as being no different than how regular underwear is colored/printed, and since my diaper wearing doesn't require me to wear a plain white diaper, I can wear fun prints too.

I've been wearing some level of incontince pad for 26 years. Nowadays it's a thick disposable during the day and cloth diaper & plastic pant at night.

My urologist has seen me in printed diapers and colored plastic pants several times. When I visit my GP, I try to wear plain white disposable.

A couple of times I've visited the emergency department in printed diapers. While in the hospital for scheduled surgeries, I bring a supply of diapers and diaper covers.

When a medical professional sees what I'm wearing, I either hear no comments or occasionally I hear a positive comment. A few have asked me where I obtain my supplies.

I've demonstrated a variety of incontince supplies to my prostate cancer support group which resulted in lots of Q&A.

Not only would I, but I have. My doctor knows that I have mixed incontinence and nocturnal enuresis - so I wear diapers. My last visit I happened to be wearing cute animal print diapers with matching plastic pants. I hadn't thought about it in advance, but at one point I had to bend over and drop my pants, and was on full display. Doctor didn't even make a comment, but I lightened the mood by commenting that my wife liked to make my situation interesting.

It's really no different that wearing any other type of fashionable undergarment, say designer boxers vs. tighty-whities, or women wearing a nice bra and panty set vs. plain old cotton granny panties.

I wear ABDL printed diapers to my doctor's appointment and they don't have any issues with them. Even the nurses know that I wear ABDL Diapers and are very open and accepting as well. The usual comments I get are they look great to they look cute and babyish for me.

No. I'm maybe to "guy" for that, I hate to say. But if I were a teen or early 20-something girl, then yes, sure! It's like when a girl is required to wear a mask on the floor or elsewhere and is given a pediatric earloop mask with Mickey Mouse on it or something. You do you.

I am hist not the kind of guy to pay extra for a printed diaper m u wear disposable so little and are always covered by PP'S ,it would be a huge waste of money that nobody will see or appreciate except my aide who changes me and he doesn't care what is on the diaper ,

My baby print ABDL diapers are for play and overnight. At an average of $4-5 per diaper and a 5-6 liter capacity, I feel like I’m wasting it if I don’t use it all the way. In public, I don’t want all that bulk and weight so I use a more medical diaper. However, I would be comfortable wearing such a thing around my primary care. We’ve had some pretty frank discussions and I feel very comfortable around her. My specialists on the other hand are very dry and clinical.

Myself as an incontinent person ( wearing 24/7 ) my answer is no. I'm not into AB at all but do consider myself as a DL. I've never had or tried AB printed diapers before. When I go to a doctor's appointment or even to get a massage I'm always freshly diapered upon my appointment even if I know that it will be removed. I would never wear a baby printed diaper to a professional or even for anyone to see.

Not on topic but these comments address 2 issues I've been thinking about. First, on topic, no, I would not wear a printed diaper to the doctor's (actually probably wouldn't wear any diaper to the doctor's). However, the medical profession has, as they say, 'seen it all' and the level of professiionalism is superb. I work with an ambulance company and respect for patiens and their privacy is paramount throughout the medical profession. Off topic but brought up here. It does seem that the ABDL diapers are a better quality than 'medical' diapers. Is it just because of cost? Second; ABDL diapers get expensive; if one needs diapers that becomes an expensive item in the monthly budget. Will insurance help with any adult diaper? Sure hope so!

If I were into the AB lifestyle, yes, I would wear printed diapers to my doctor appointments. As others have mentioned, if you're wearing diapers is it really necessary they be all white when there are so many choices in regular underwear? I wear 24/7 for fun and I do wear to all my doctor appointments as well as everything else I do except when swimming. I do not wear a wet diaper to the doctor appointments. If anyone asks about my diapers, I'm prepared to simply tell them I am incontinent. Why I wear is nobody else's business. It's my fetish to enjoy how I choose.

Just a short update: I had an appointment with my PCP 2 days ago. Among the many questions he asked was if I still had any incontinence from my prostate cancer surgery. I told him I did and that I wore diapers 24/7. All he asked was how many diapers I used each day. I told him 3 on most days and then we moved on to other items. It really was no big deal; and, should I ever need to drop my pants he will expect to see a diaper. I consider that a minor victory for the DL in me.
