Catholic -Diaper wearing ??????

I was looking at a subject on the AB Kingdom regarding girls wearing diapers & plastic baby pants for their Church baptisms. These are girls in the early teens. Was this a "made-up " story?

Yes. Absolutely a story. Being raised Catholic and being around many different parishes having so many cousins, I am absolutely sure this is a fantasy. The girls all wore very pretty and elaborate all white dresses. But definitely no diapers. I have four sisters and many female cousins. So Nope. Never happens.

I’ve never heard of it, outside of stories on the internet myself. I can’t see it being a practical occurrence. And every story I see, seems to proclaim, that cloth diapers and plastic pants be used. Why? Why wouldn’t any easily available disposable diaper be okay? And how would “normal” unknowing, non AB, vanilla persons be expected to find, hard to find, old school cloth diapers and plastic pants?

If it were true, someone would have pictures to back up such clams.

Like, Yes this is me, 7 years old, when I had to, embarrassingly wear a diaper to receive my communion. Mom thought it would be fun, to document it with pictures.

Never even heard someone say they had pictures, let alone poney up and show them.

There is one person who has posted stories like this in almost every place online where they could conceivably fit. You can pretty much tell by the subject matter and the writing style that it is one person who is doing this. It seems that posting these fantasies all over the internet is what this person gets off on.

Definitely a Fake story, no such practice. I've seen the same ramblings about this and all I can say, as well, that this is somebody's fantasy. I am a Catholic born and raised and never heard of such a thing. I've seen the same weird scenario relating to "Confirmation", where an older child repeats his Baptism vows to "confirm" their beliefs, now that they are older. Again, it's all fantasy nonsense...

Something not quite right here - - - Catholic diapers - what about Protestant diapers - Jewish diapers and so on and so forth. Yes diapers would be worn for a Catholic Baptism which is usually done in the infant stage and the Holy Water anointment is over the forehead of the child - having nothing at all with the wearing of diapers.

For full immersion baptism (done by the Baptist faith) usually at a later stage of life i.e. pre-teen - diapers would not be a requirement unless incontinent. Wearing diapers for First Communion Confirmation etc. again only necessary for those who are incontinent. As for weddings diapers are optional for the bride and party because

using the loo is quite a task getting out of the bridal clothes. Usually considered if the after ceremonial exchange of vows there is going to a lengthy party out some distance from rest room facilities.

You can put this FAUX story to rest or discuss it like flogging a dead horse - unless you like someone to keep posting these to continually wet his diapers and get his jollies off.

Most certainly not true; but are we not all entitled to our fantasies? Not sure I approve of such fantasies involving children or teens. But then I tend to be a conservative in many things and who really controls their fantasies? I do enjoy images of pretty women in diapers and plastic baby panties and suspect there are those out there that would object to that, and I understand that. Also if you encourage your fatasies in respect to underage individuals are you not treading into morally compromising areas, to say nothing of legality?

Old practices from the good old days of Catholic Communion. I have six older sisters and yes for their communion they did wear cloth diapers and a pair of plastic pants. The reason I was given was a sign of purity and innocence at the time of Communion. I can tell you one thing there was no innocence when it came to my sisters that any diaper was going to absolve.

Yes, I was brought up a catholic and I've never heard of this, its just a fantasy

My sister and I both wore diapers and rubber pants to our First Communion, not for any religious reason, but because at 7 years old we had both just become day time potty trained and our mother wanted to be sure neither of us would have accident. With an entire church full of parents and siblings of their 7 year olds' First Communion, accidents will and do happen.
