Constipation has been a lifelong problem for me. From an early age enemas have been the "cure". I get constipated about once or twice a month.
Usually I take a small, 1 qt or less, plain water enema to empty my rectum. Then I'll take 1 or 2, 2qt. SSEs. These clean me out very well.
About 1 time out of 10 to 15 enemas when I take the small enema I find that I can literally, only hold a cup or less of water. I get a strong urge to go. When I do I expel it's just the water and a small bit of waste. I'll then repeat the process until eventually I can take larger amounts.
Not long ago I was having this problem. My wife came in and asked if I was going to be done anytime soon as she wanted me to do something for her. I explained what was going on and she asked if I had tried some mineral oil. I told her no that I didn't have any way of getting it inside of me. I told her the bulb syringe had broken a long time ago.
She left and returned a few minutes later with an old douche bulb of hers and said that I could have it for my enemas. She got an oil enema ready and gave it to me, 2 bulbfuls. I held it for an hour or so and then expelled a lot of waste. I took a 2qt. SSE later that evening. Needless to say that for 2 or 3 days after that I was still getting rid of oil every time i went.
I have seen here that many people add liquid glycerine to an enema. I'm wondering if putting some in a 2 qt enema and using the bulb to inject it into me might help. Correct my thinking if I'm wrong. The bulb would pressure the fluid past the waste down low in my colon/rectum. The glycerine would cause a peristaltic motion of the colon above the waste. If this is correct what amount of glycerine would be best? Another thing, is the glycerine like an oil that it's best to use a SSE after to clean out residue? If this is correct is the glycerine as hard as the mineral oil to clean out of the colon?
Thanks
